Now, I'm slightly less thrilled. I am also a Ravelo guy. Cost of doing business, I guess. Loved his approach. Bummer, but oh well.

I don't think so. I like Ravelo, but I don't think he was ever going to get a shot with the Sox.

 

Frankly, it's better seeing Ravelo go than Anderson.

 

Agreed. With Abreu here, and him going on 22 next year I believe. He was not going to get a shot here.

I am OK with this if the Oakland pitcher is alive.

hurts to lose the Phegstar

The second player sox get should be a decent pick up now the Ravelo was added, Phegly made too much sense to be the odd catcher out.

I like the fact that the Sox get a minor league pitcher. It's still a good deal.

I like it. All guys who are essentially blocked in the White Sox organization. The Sox traded from depth to do this deal.

Anyway, I liked the guy. Props to those who called Phegley too. Definitely won't miss him.

This could ultimately turn into a really, really good deal for the Athletics, but I'm not really upset about those other two at all.

If he can pitch in a major league bullpen next year, even better.

Michael Ynoa. YES

Ravelo being included makes me think the Sox will get back a minor league pitcher that has a legit chance.

Ynoa was a top 100 prospect....4 years ago. Was as high as 20.

Wow, Ynoa is a nice get. Really nice tools, K rate of 12+ in the minors last year.

I knew it was going to be Michael Ynoa. Kenny Williams has always wanted Ynoa. I wish I would have posted it 10 mins ago when I thought about it.
