ST 3/20 Sox vs Cubs 3:05 start

Very nice inning there. A lot of well placed hits and great base running to take advantage of where the ball was hit. Love the aggressiveness.

Oooh! Adam Eaton just got a 5 year deal with 2 year club option! Nice.

I love RH so much. He's a baller and not afraid to put all his cards on the table.

Hahn making the obvious point to Hawk that if you have a better offense suddenly your pen looks a helluva lot better holding a 3 run lead instead of a 1 run lead.

Looking forward to seeing the terms of the deal.

Back to the game - old bugaboo for Hector with the HR ball.

Noesi's fastball is so straight. Three fly outs to the track/home run last inning

He REALLY needs to get it down lower in the zone.

From what I've seen Micah hangs in there pretty well against LHP. Seems to have an opposite field approach. God, Hawk ranting already, just said a fast runner changes the game more than a HR. And Micah gets picked off, lol.

But you couldn't have pulled a greased tee out of Travis Wood's behind!

LOL @ "This might be the best defensive OF in the major leagues."

2015: $850k

2016: $2.75 m

2017: $4m

2018: $6m

2019 (woulda been first year of free agency): $8.4m

Options are $9.5 and $10.5

I love Hawk, but don't understand that one. Seems to me, no matter how fast you are, the best youre going to do vs. a HR is a tie..

Makes sense, Wood will get regular at bats during season while Noesi won't be.

It's the handicap for Maddon vs. Ventura.

But what he's getting at is speed is always there vs waiting for a home runs. Look at Kansas City. They didn't have as much home runs but they used their speed through the playoffs.

Just stayed watching the game from the begining, no spoilers

Hint 1: GET OUT OF THE GAME THREAD!

Abreu might hit .415 this year with 5 homers

I understand that, but the KC model wouldn't be as en vogue if Lester hadn't blown a 4 run lead in the 8th inning of the WC game.

If Abreu hits 40 homers this year, I don't think anyone will mind his SB totals aren't stellar. He effects the game more than any other White Sox offensively.

Haha he definitely looks like that now.

But, he's not in his groove yet. Just trying to get the bat head on the ball.
