Sure seems like it. I also think the lineup today signifies Johnson won the 2B competition

I hate that Quintana is hitting. Damn it

Micah with a stellar diving stop on a ball up the middle. That range of his is insane. Too bad he couldn't make the throw.

Micah Johnson dove for a grounder in the first inning, was holding his side. Sox out to talk with him but he stays in game.

Quintana making this a long day for the team. 5 runs and counting in the 2nd.

Make that 6 runs after 3 straight doubles

Save us Rodon :)

JS and JQ tune ups very lousy.

Holy hell. Quintana was awful today.

didn't he not record a single out in one of his last ST starts last year? i'm not worried.

probably trying to practice a new pitch

Drabek should not be on the roster. Send him down, and if someone claims him, oh well.

This game is UGLY!

He'll probably get a few mop-up innings the first couple of weeks, and then he'll be released if he struggles.

Agreed. He's the only one who can go 3+ right now in that bullpen. When a starter struggles early/gets lit up (I'm looking at you John Danks) he'll at least eat up the innings.

Hawkins is in the dugout.

actually that was how i saw the season panning out. that was if Rodon made the roster out of spring. Danks at #6 - sp, eating innings and holding the this team together with good pitching.

but someone said it was a bad move b/c of what he is getting paid.

i still think that still would be the best option.
