Marcus Semien 6/16 and almost out RBIing the whole Sox team with 5 already.

How many teams even started out 0-4 in that time period? Maybe 20%?

 

 

Probably closer to 10-12%

I'd be more interested to know what percentage of teams played the first 27 games at 10-17 or worse and made the playoffs. That's more what I'm worried about...not just a four game losing streak.

 

BTW, the Pirates started 10-17 last year (and 12-20), and won 88 games- and they only went 36-40 in the division.

i am really surprise that i am calm, well overall, not at this point in time. anyway, this team will start to win. it is 4 games into the season. i am still going to stick to my prediction of wins-lost by the ASG.

Are we done crying in our beer yet? Motivation to win comes from within each individual. These players are professionals and will give their best. After four games we are once again hating on Beckham, calling for Ventura to be axed and looking at Semien and Shark trade as a failure. I think what we have going for us is to be in a divson where all teams will beat up on each other and once we start rolling, which hopefully is today, we can make up four games after all we have 158 left.

It just might turn out to be a blessing. If this team really has the talent we think it has, this will be a chance for it to show its true mettle. It's going to be a real test of their character.

60 percent is 97 wins. That's playoffs for sure.

obviously nice to win a game, but if the things that appeared during the four game clip linger on, we aren't going to win six in a row.
