And That's a White Sox Winner !!

Jennings, Duke, Robertson 8 of last 9 outs via K !

Haven't seen anything like that in a while. Talent papers over mistakes, that certainly was the case tonight. And of course, the offense did enough. Sox might lose this one 3-2 last year. Still, far from a clean game but I will take 3-4. Now if Det and KC would just slow down some...

Nice to have a good bullpen. Much needed. Will help these guys be ready to play everyday and not have to worry if it'll get blown later or not.

Hopefully we can keep this momentum for tomorrow

With the Carrasco thing, and Brantley out until Friday, this is a quick 2-gamer the Indians just want to be over with. Hope Danks is ready to go.

Bauer is going to have to start his pregame routine at the crack of dawn.

Good win for sure. Not playing well but gutting out wins. Lock down closer is on point. Along with Duke as the set up guy. This pen could only get better if guys like Putnam and Jennings pitch well and we get Nate back and he's solid.

don't look now but the sox are actually in a 3 way tie for 8th best record in the AL at 3-4 and only 1.5 away from a tie for the 2nd wild card. Good f***ing job winning three in a row team.

Can see some of the offseason plan coming together the last few games.

Robertson has 4 IP 1 H and 8 Ks. That's beautiful

and to think Joe Nathan is getting paid roughly the same this year. Stud closers are worth 10+ million and Robertson is one of them no doubt. His stats and stuff reflect that. Unless he suddenly loses command, it's hard to see him not being at least average closer or better through his deal. It's not like he'd be awful if he lost a couple ticks on his fastball.

Let's not forget the Abreu solo bomb !

Love how those last 9 all came from offseason transactions too, just beautiful.

Or Q. Both helped a lot. Basically enough of the studs showed up to make up for the mistakes. Just win.

yep, they spent money, and so far, looks like money well spent.

Once again, very encouraged by the revamped pen.

Petricka will be a huge boost when we get him back too. I will say that I have 0 faith in Putnam though.

I would bet on Crain before Nate Jones this season.

Both are, at best, iffy.

Now all we need to do is actually find the favorable match-ups to play Bonifacio against.

Oh, well, you can't win 'em all.

Q battled his way through what wound up being a very nice 6 innings. Good.

Jennings worked past some defensive problems and kept the score intact.

Duke K's the side.

Robertson K's the world.

Oh boy, if the Sox can just run this blueprint 3 out of every 5 games with Sale/Shark/Q they will be very difficult to beat over 162 games. This is a team built to work with a lead, the starters just have to give us one and its gonna be a lot of fun.

Montas = those two imo as far as likelyhood of impact from the pen later in the year. They will obviously try those guys out first but if it's late July or early August and Montas has had a solid campaign in AA he could certainly have an impact from the pen imo. Provided he can throw strikes.

Not saying his long term future should be pen, but if other options falter he could be the difference in a game or two that helps make the playoffs.

3 in a row. Make it 4 tomorrow!

Danks goes tomorrow?

I like that we can pop 3 in row without fully clicking. Last year we needed to be full steam to grind out 3. I see the 2015 Sox as a team that has the potential to pop some long winning streaks, 8/10s etc. we might be scary good once the dust n rust settles and Rodon/Montas force the issue.

Phew! The sky isn't falling! I think this team is closer to the team we've seen over the last 3 games than the previous 4... At least I hope that's the truth.

The bullpen was just nasty!!!

Hate to see Carrasco get hurt like that, but glad to see the Sox immediately take advantage of it. Some crazy s*** happens over 162 games, you have to jump at any opportunities like that if you want to see October.
