Chris Sale is a man!

I always thought that was pretty obvious. The beard totally gives it away.

That was the 11th time in Sale's career with 12 or more SO — the most in majors since 2012. #whiff

Boy, there's no fooling you.

Manny Machado LMAO. What a baby.

Also 21st game with 10+ Ks. Just 194 off of Nolan Ryan's record!

Chuck really gets into the game sometimes. I like it

Machado :hawk:

Chris looks disappointed that he didn't get to make Machado do that.

I'm game casting, what happened? Game cast says he struck out swinging before he was ejected. What was his argument? Check swing?

Looks like he held up on that swing. Why no appeal to first?

Check swing called out

He was called out on the check swing, then he threw his bat down in disgust and started screaming at the ump. Showalter had to run out to hold him back.

Now who closes for the Sox?

I really hate when home umps call the check swing. Just ask the ump at 1st or 3rd

My first guess would be Petricka

I think Duke stays out there

I agree unless it is beyond obvious.

Shuck continues to hit.

I really like what Shuck brings to the table. A good, solid, scrappy player.

With Jones and Young coming up, you'd think it would have to be Putnam or Petricka. If it gets to Davis, bring in Jennings.

Sale's gonna set the franchise strikeout mark, isn't he?

Billy Pierce has the franchise record with 1796, so it's not an easy to obtain number. If Sale pitches with the Sox for a long time he does have a legitimate shot.

Shuck getting hits.

He's definitely making the most of the opportunity he's been given with Avi out. Perfectly fine for a 4th outfielder.
