Quick tweet on Zangari from JJ Cooper:

Bat is more advanced than his pitching and have reports his velo hasn't stayed at a premium level.

Going with Stephen Duggar, 2b, Clemson

Is he related to the Duggar family from 19 Kids and Counting?

Blake Hickman.

#69 on BA's top 500. BY FAR the best college player available.

Good scouting reports, less than inspiring numbers

I really like the Hickman pick, he sounds like a really good kid with a great head on his shoulders. I think the Sox can help develop him as a pitcher, he definitely has a major league starter's frame.

Pretty straightforward delivery for Hickman. Not a lot of bells and whistles.

man's been involved with the White Sox since basically forever ago. Seems like a long time coming.

Really like the draft so far, Sox sticking to what they know, pitching and lots of it, Love the Fulmer, Stephens and Hickman picks. Avi and Eaton's addition to the sox have shown we can getting hitting thru other channels so just keep developing quality pitching and we'll be fine.

i thought so. i like the pick.

I think Hickman is going to be a killer reliever when all said and done

According to his bio, he was named White Sox Double Duty selection in 2008 and has a bunch of other accolades since then from the Sox.

FWIW, if the draft had played to form, that would have put him in the middle of the second round.

Interesting Fringe 5 info on Jordan Stephens from Fangraphs. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-fringe-...-draft-edition/

Looked like he threw a split or sinker with a change up and slider. Am I seeing that right?

As for Hickman, awesome story. Glad that story continues with the White Sox.

This one would have put him in the 3rd round.
