Small problem...the "trade" implies you'd get something back if you sent anyone other than those guys to another team. Getting a "bill" back for 1/2 their salary isn't exactly a trade.

This organization is killing itself by throwing money at mediocre talent - that's why they have to put money into player development instead of chasing after mediocre 30+ free agents

Yep. Time to start thinking of trading some of these veterans away. This team is not good. No point of them fooling themselves in thinking they still have s chance at this thing. I have seen enough.

No it's not. It's getting this year's team to around .500. That's a 8-10 game improvement. Then you try to win again next season with a front 3 of Sale, Rodon, and Quintana. They really don't have anyone to trade off of this team anyway. I don't really see much young help coming. Still more likely to add than subtract in my opinion.
