Cage The Elephant announced that their new album will be out in December

Cage announced on Facebook they were doing a Spring Fling tour with Silversun Pickups. Chicago isn't on the tour list yet but I would imagine Chicago will be added at some point. If they do, the little woman and I are there!

 

It's that time of year. Lots of bands announcing spring and summer tours on Facebook. I'm getting the itch!

Well, on my way to Muncie for the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis concert. Saw them 4 years ago at IU.

I've never seen Carcass, but I've seen Testament 4 times and Slayer 7 times and they bring it every time. Enjoy!

I know what you mean. Similar thing happened to me when Panyera released Vulgar Display of Power. Bought it, listened to it a few times and sold it to a friend. Liked their first two albums much more.

Interesting to release an album and then not make it available for anyone to actually buy it.

I love that we are in an era where Kanye can legitimately add new tracks to an album and release it later that day. He's got references on these tracks to real world things that happened as recently as last week.

The Tidal stream worked horrible for me yesterday. I am expecting that he may make it exclusive to Tidal for a week or so (like Dre did with apple), going to be frustrating to wait but whatever.

 

Hopefully he tours again cause Yeezus Tour was easily top 5, if not top 2 concerts Ive ever seen.

I didn't think Kanye can get any lazier with his album art after Yeezus and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, but he managed to top himself with the cover for The Life of Pablo. Did someone make that s*** in Paint 20 minutes before they released the stream?

There is some glimpses of great s*** on this album its just surrounded by crap at times. I feel like he thinks he needs to be crazy to have some sort of genius moment.

Yeah, don't agree with Rock. His previous 2 albums were pretty slim. This album has a lot more filler but definitely seems transitional. Dude is 38, this is better than most outputs from 38 year olds. Still pretty intriguing ideas here. If he was a rock artist, we'd just be getting a bunch of nashville/folk inspired records.
