Yeah I'd say there's a very good chance this one is played Sunday.

Both teams off Monday too, so a split doubleheader Sunday would work pretty well.

 

Bunch of games in the east could get banged today.

John Danks took full credit for a shellacking on Monday against the Twins. He gave up nine runs -- five earned -- and was unable to pitch over a costly Alexei Ramirez error.

 

Kyle Ryan , #56 LHP

Ryan pitched in relief Wednesday on his day to throw a side session, but manager Brad Ausmus said it wouldn't affect his status. He threw his best outing of the season against the White Sox on June 5 with seven innings of two-run ball.

Looking at the weather reports, it seems like there's no way this game is played today.

I wouldn't mind just pushing the game until later in the year (wishful thinking). It would completely skip Danks and the Sox may avoid Price in the series.

Eaton/Abreu/Avi/LaRoche/Cabrera/Ramirez/Beckham/Flowers/Bonifacio

 

I'm not a fan of this at all, as it you have to find a way to get better hitters in front of Abreu and not putting him in an even more likely chance to bat with no one on.

No game. Doug Padilla is saying they are awaiting official word. But no.

Does not look good. Detroit has had a lot of rain and its expected to continue into tonight.

Looks like moving Q in front of Rodon lets Q start the last game before the ASB at the Cubs. Gives Rodon one less start, which is smart. Should be Samardzija/Sale/Q vs Cubs
