In much limited action. He and Schuck have not been used nearly as much as they should have been earlier in the season and this seems to be a thing going back to Guillen.

I am starting to think that Abreu's hand is in bad shape. At a minimum he should DH every day.

That would require the same logic as sitting LaRoche against LHP, but it's not to be found on the South Side.
