That would require the same logic as sitting LaRoche against LHP, but it's not to be found on the South Side.

 

Pitch splits, platoons and situational substitutions do seem to mystify this team sans the occasional defensive replacement.

If this is JS last start in a Sox uniform it was a showcase event.

5 years ago I bought myself a #15 Gordon Beckham 1959 Jersey. This was after I bought a #30 Nick Swisher jersey a year or so before. That turned out awful. So I decided to go with the 1959 "nameless" jersey. All I can say is, I can't wait for Carson Fulmer to come up and rock #15. In the in between time - I have the coolest Tadahito Iguchi jersey ever.
