He's actually one of the few position players who fits in the here and now...and is on the right side of age 30, perhaps most importantly.

 

Of course, the argument will be that "we don't want to mess with our team chemistry right now" and they'll end up making no decision and wavering, which is essentially the same thing as making a decision.

 

 

If Josh Paul taking Mark Johnson's place on the 2000 playoff roster could have such a dramatic effect, one could only wonder what Puig would do. Hopefully more 52-9 or 2014 than 2015.

I do wonder what the org's plans for Micah Johnson are. Sanchez looks to be doing enough to keep the starting spot for a while.
