Is it odd that there is nothing out there about what our plans may be? Is it a sign that we don't know what to do becUse the fact that there really is a lot of supposed friction in the FO? Or is it how Hahn does it when negotiating? Or do you all think they stand pat and let these guys play out the season? Even the normal inside guys on here are quiet. Just odd to me I guess with two days left.

Get a RF like Cargo, platoon LaRoche & Avi at DH, and call it a day. One bat should be enough IMO.

Gomez is too pricey. CarGo is most likely IMO unless we can snag Puig. Maybe even get in a three way with Detroit for Cespedes

While I think he was just speculating, adding a third catcher would allow us to use Soto at DH against LHP while still allowing for us to pinch-hit for Flowers late in games (stole this idea from southsidesox). However, this idea becomes pretty pointless if we upgrade RF and let Avi platoon with LaRoche.

Sox are one under .500 with eight weeks of ball left. They played so badly for such an extended period of time, there's no law that says they can't ride this great pitching staff to eight weeks of excellence. I can see why they'd stand pat or try to add just one bat.
