Mariners DFA'd Fernando Rodney and sent down Danny Farquar after the game last night.

Logan Kensing one of the guys called up. He was with the Sox in spring training.

Maybe that will straighten up his cap.

Can someone that will watch the entire game keep a count of how many times they play the Miller Lite commercial?

I would, but I won't be able to watch the game today.

That doesn't include pitching changes though haha.

Eaton 8, Saladino 5, Abreu DH, Cabrera 7, Garcia 9, LaRoche 3, Ramirez 6, Soto 2, Sanchez 4.

Trumbo back today. Keep the ball down, Danks.

CERA fans will be upset to know that Soto is catching Danks. Soto will also (presumably) catch Samardzija tomorrow.

On my way to the game. Dang it! LaRoche!

Didn't realize this is Danks' 9th year with the Sox. If we don't trade him, then he'll hit his 10th year next year. Time flies. He's the longest tenured current Sox player. Alexei is 2nd, this is his 8th year.

Edit- And this is Sale's 6th. But his first 2 were as a reliever.

Fairly quick first inning, good hit by Abreu and Eaton made him work, but no damage.

Good quick first for Danks, mostly kept changeup down, couple K's.

Am I the only one left actually watching this team? This game thread is more vacant than it is during late night Pacific games.

Balta how bout that high change he threw Cruz to strike him out. Yikes!

Out of curiosity, when is last time Avi or Abreu pulled a fastball for a homer?

LaRoche rips a double to RF. Good swing on a high fastball.

RBI single by Alexei, 1-0 White Sox.

Gio lines to 2b, Alexei caught off 1b for the Double play.

Alexei has been a really good player. But he is pretty baseball dumb.

That was a pretty tough play for Alexei, all he did was take a couple steps and it was so fast that was it. I can't be all that mad about that one. Yeah he should have taken 1 fewer step but a walking lead and an extra step on contact is pretty normal.

God Sanchez is so smooth at 2B.

Line drives have to go through, especally when it is right in frontof you. He should have been going back to the bag. There is zero way he should have been double off on a limer right at the second baseman unless he was running.

LaRoche stabs a line drive and pulls off a double play to end their half of the inning.

Sox need to score a few more quick ones for Danks. Seattle has hit some balls pretty damn hard against hin
