Bryant has had the best swings off syndergaard all night, which to me is surprising - he's got a longer swing and is a guy I wouldn't think would catch up to upper 90s heat. At least not compared to Schwarber and rizzo.

Pretty quick hook for Noah

Really? It's the mets. He's available every night. They might throw him out for 3 innings at this point.

That was a neat catch.

Fathom is breathing easy now?

At least easier...

Granted, the Cubs could easily come back and win 2 of the next 3, Familia could break down, anything is possible...but it seems like Arrieta exceeding his previous inning highs is really starting to erode his velocity and the crispness of his pitches overall.

Not to mention deGrom has probably been the most dominating overall for the Mets in recent weeks.

Day off tomorrow. Why not?

Reed in.

Addison Reed oh no

Odds of Reed not getting lit up like he was closing against the Tigers in late-season 2012 (granted, he did get ONE huge save, but it was always precarious)...?

Well 2 outs so far. Color me, and everyone else, surprised.

Ewww Addison Reed.

Mets bullpen is a bit suspect. It's probably the weakest part of their team.

Addison Reed with a nice job

Reed did it.

1-2-3 for Reed count your blessings Mets.

Just means more ips for Familia!

Weird to see Addison Reed in the LCS.

I know he wasn't great as a closer, but he was stellar at times, and he's a hell of a lot better than Davidson.

Wood is flithy

Wood is many things. Occasionally effective and a useful bullpen piece. But filthy? Not so much.
