I also am smart enough that I can listen to something and come up with my own opinion on it and can also blow off or read through a lot of BS that all of these organizations spin. CNN is definitely the least biased of the networks. They're big issue is when they get hung up on certain topics. They're left leaning, but not left slanted. It just wasn't getting that much attention at the time, and there wasn't a smoking gun yet. I don't know if there was enough widespread cynicism in public office at that point to believe a President would do all of the things Nixon was doing. And so much of it wasn't even necessary!
