Young folks? Hell, I'm 39yo and dig some Chance...."Acid Rap" is amazing.

Love Chance. Saw him a few years ago when he was included on Childish Gambino's tour. Acid Rap is a classic.

Don't know who Chance is but if he's a Sox fan and can help put more butts in the seats then I'm all for it.

For those who don't know Chance....here's a taste of a few songs of his that I like.

 

 

 

And now since he's taken on a more role-model position for the youth of Chicago, he does more positive and "cleaner" songs like...

Don't know his music but when I see him on talk shows, he seems down to earth and a good role model. Does a lot for the city.

It sounds like they are still located behind homeplate, and the mural/artwork is in addition, not a replacement. Which is a good thing.

I am a massive hip hop head. IMO Chance is one of the most talented "crossover" (mainstream and backpack rap) MCs out there right now. He's Kendrick Lamar circa 2013, just waiting on the one big album that makes him a household name across the country. His flow is tight and as he matures he should be able to take his lyrics into more risque areas.

 

Great signing for the Sox.

Chicago Tribune has pictures of the 3 'Chance The Rapper' limited edition hats. I don't care for the look at all, plus article indicates the hats will be "priced between $40 and $50". LOL, no thanks.
