I think stuff like that is why people didn't want replay. I think most people want the important calls to be made correctly. Nobody likes challenges on obvious plays and people's hand slipping off the bag in the middle of the game.

Sarcasm aside, I believe that play wasn't able to be challenged as it was a judgement call by the ump to decide the runner had been interfered with.
