5/10 - White Sox @ Rangers Game Thread

If that really was a missed call then how did the ump mess it up when he was in perfect position to see his foot relative to the bag?

I thought teams don't get challenges after the 7th...

Umpires must have thought it was close enough to review.

you can request a review and 90% of the time they will review it.

Seems like you might as well get unlimited challenges then.

Rangers are one of the teams that review almost everything and it's extremely annoying.

Carroll needs to take care of the final 2 innings

That's his job, and I think he can do it. I legitimately think he has a role and this is it. We are up 5 and get 6 outs, don't f*** it up, don't worry about the leadoff single, just induce contact and get outs.

Eh I think it's pretty obvious that he had the ball and the foot on.

They got the call right.

Obviously wasn't obvious as a person right there saw foot off bag.

Why is Carroll getting squeezed in a 5 run game lol

Still doesn't feel like this game is completely in control, especially with all the pitches thrown last night by the bullpen.

DP ball would be nice.

I think all the players are ready to call it a night at this point.

You have 1 challenge all game and can use it after the 7th. You can request the umps look at it after the 7th if you've used yours.

Yeah enough of Carroll

This is why it's not.

Guess that isn't going to happen

Knew it wasn't going to be so easy with Carroll out there.

Pretty sure I'd rather have Lincecum on the team...

Why isn't Duke coming in

And now that I say that, he's on a batter-to-batter basis in my head.

Get Albers in now..... oh f*** please god dont let this fall apart now

This should be interesting.

It's extremely difficult to blow a five-run lead in one inning. Odds are we hang on.

What a joke Robin.

Duke is warming up, why in the world wasn't he brought in there

Oh man. Paging Dr. Albers

That was one of the most inexplicable moves I have ever seen.

If Putnam was available, then why the hell were we throwing Carroll? Damn it Robin.

Hawk coronary for walking Mazara there.

Would have been happier if he'd just cleared the bases with a homer and we still had a 2 run lead.

RV asleep at the wheel.
