Best thing to happen to us is Anderson being taken out.

And that's why a 2 run lead vs. a 4 run lead against their bullpen is so important.

One swing of the bat and they would have been right back in it.

Eaton is having trouble today w the strikezone

Well, we will never know, because we didn't even bother to try to hold the lead to just 2 runs with either Jennings or Putnam. We also screwed over Erik Johnson, honestly hope they just trade him and let him get a fresh start with another organization.

The fact is, looking at the next couple of games, especially tmrw...you don't anticipate using your entire bullpen in a Chris Sale start.

the horse was out the barn door when latos was pulled earlier in the day.

Eaton

Jackson

Frazier

Cabrera

Abreu

Lawrie

Garcia

Navarro/Avila

Saladino

Yes? No? Taking advantage of hot streaks with Jackson/Saladino

Ventura didn't cost the team a game today. Anderson just dominated tonight

If Sox come back and wind up losing 5-4, I think you are changing your tune.

exactly. that is what I was trying to say with the ".5" runs comment. Games are won and lost in the margins. The manager shows up there.

Notice how Shaw, unlike Albers, does not throw 10 straight fastballs.

10 pitch AB... good battle so far

Is every Indians pitcher doing Pilates? Their velocity is crazy

Scott Merkin@scottmerkin

That ball was hit hard but the Indians defense has not looked division championship like today.

Nice Merkin...c'mon, we don't need to insult our opponents, do we?

Have a day Eaton

Eaton has had a bad day.

nasty slider, tip the cap.

Eaton's BA dropped hard today

Ump has been so inconsistent

Yep. It was a good at bat by Eaton.

Got to find someone who can get on batting 2nd. Not a good game for Saladino

We suck in this game.

Welp, that went from "maybe they can push for a comeback" to "well, that sucks".

What the hell is Jackson doing there?

That run means nothing.

With the exception of Melky's RBI in this game....the White Sox have looked incompetent scoring runners from 3rd base since the 6th inning of the 1st game.

It's like an epidemic now.

All Saladino had to do was put the ball in play anywhere BUT 3rd base. Oh, well...he was 7 for 18 with RISP coming into that at-bat, one of our bright spots recently.

Testing Uribe, dumb.

A bit surprised Uribe went home, but that was a nice play since it worked.
