Verlander's pitching MUCH better, more like in the second half last year.

They're ONLY 3 games back after tonight, barring a miracle comeback.

If JD Martinez and Justin Upton going again, you've got the best offense in the division, with Castellanos hitting this year, Kinsler, MIggy and Victor Martinez...they can pile up some runs.

They still have a lot of issues in that starting rotation, they're relying on a rookie in Fulmer, but if Daniel Norris can get back to 100% and Ilitch gives it one last go throwing all of his money at a team to desperately hold onto hope of another World Series appearance, anything's possible.

To think the Tigers fans were calling for their manager to be fired like 3 weeks ago maybe when they were 8 gb? Crazy how far the Sox have fallen.

Damn the start from this Sox team fooled me so bad. I can't remember ever being so wrong about a team.

It's one game. The roided up meathead ragers are the problem with this thread.

Well, if you've followed the White Sox for 30+ years, you would understand.

At any rate, Sale's going to be 5-7 with an ERA of nearly 4 lifetime against the Indians, so it's not a complete shocker. We knew it had to happen sometime, but the timing is obviously the worst part.

And if the White Sox had an ownership group with Detroit's unlimited spending power and a bottomless farm system brimming with prospects to trade to fix some things, there wouldn't be much of any reason to be upset.

But there's a difference between trust and conviction. This organization has mostly disappointed for the last decade.

White Sox baseball 2013-2015 has returned. Hopefully on a temporary basis.

Sale losing his temper and throwing "angry pitches". Mental and physical mistakes all around (compounding). Players giving up at-bats or not having a plan of what they're doing up there.
