Sox (29-28) vs Nats (34-23)

Featured Replies

Gotta love these 4 hour games.

We might finish this one ahead of the Indians in Seattle. It's a possibility.

We're going to have to use our entire bullpen, and then we have Shields and Gonzalez going the next two days.

Great!

Tigers are about to win.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 7, 2016 -> 08:10 PM)
And I just want to say I don't blame Robin for the pitching issues tonight. He had no choice but to pull Latos and Jennings probably made the most sense given the situation. Didn't work out, but the strategy was right.

Is Purke still on the roster?

...And the Blue Jays blew a 2 run 9th inning lead & are now about to lose in extras. A loss ends with Sox in 4th.

Latos just symbolizes the Sox season this year

Hot unbelievable start followed by awfulness.

Yes, but would you really bring him to face Harper?

Rodon is out for only one start

PTAC didn't seem convinced a shoulder muscle injury would lead to nerve impingement or sensations radiating down the arm.

We'll see.

Lawrie has looked god awful tonight

Lawrie is a very frustrating player to watch when he goes cold.

It's so strange this game is only in the 5th.

4th place alone if the Sox lose.

An 8 game lead over the Tigers on May 6th turns into a 1/2 game lead for DET over the White Sox 24 games later.

Not even a month. Pretty incredible. Nobody saw the Tigers coming until this weekend, although their pitching has quietly been coming together and 1-9 (especially with Maybin raking) that's the best overall line-up in the Central.

unbelievable

The Sox always seems to be a short a couple of big pieces every year.

This whole finding different ways to blow leads each game thing is really getting old. It's a 1 run game w/ 4 innings left & somehow feels like this game is over.

If Shields gets rocked tomorrow night and Gio shuts down the White Sox Thursday...it's going to be interesting to see how long the front office can keep up a brave face with the media.

Wish Shields would have pitched tonight so he could have faced KC on Sunday. That would have made for quite a story. I guess there's always the possibility he gets knocked out of the game early tmrw night and then they move up Shields to Sunday to face the Royals and skip over Latos for the time being until they figure out what to do next.

Oh boy can't wait for this Albers meltdown....another s***ty player that has no place on an MLB team.

Seems like a lot of Sox pitchers are down in velocity since April

It's 100% on the disloyal White Sox fans for not supporting this splendid product.

Shuck has no power and is hitting less than . 125

Zero tool player. Did a nice job ph last year but he's just a poor player overall.

Now a Saladino error. Here we go.

1) There's no doubt Ventura pushed Albers to the limit when he had that hot streak.

2) There's no doubt Albers is not in the greatest shape physically/stamina-wise.

3) There's also no doubt Albers was actually throwing 94-96 MPH in that game against the Mets where he doubled and scored the winning run. Unless the Mets' radar game is just jacked WAY up to record 100 MPH pitches for Syndergaard.

Should be DP, meanwhile it's 2 on.
