Predictions - Nats 15-0. Sox get no hit.

QUOTE (Scoots @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 06:58 PM)
There is a reason the Sox got him and no one else. I wonder if there really was anyone else bidding for him.

There was probably some interest from other teams, but they apparently didn't want him that badly.

I was hoping for Ervin Santana instead, but the Twins probably wanted something of value in return.

Another game just flying by. :lol:

If Hawk were calling this game there would be dead silence.

Maybe they should have kept Danks. Was he this bad?

The packages Boston or the Dodgers could offer for Sale would be ridiculous.

Poor grandpa.

Approximately, but he was only half the cost.

Frazier redeemed himself. At least there is some sign of life on the defensive side of things.

Especially with his current contract situation...

Fire Hahn, bring in McLeod and do the trade

Well it's probably better to get shelled with Scherzer on the mound instead of losing 1-0.

Gift shelf is just bad.

Gift shelf is just bad.

I just laugh every time they bring it up

Hawk is at home watching this game getting hammered.

hahahaha! this is the guy hawk spent an entire game, where the sox were getting pounded yet again, selling the company snake oil about. the James Shields deal...

Leave him in! He's supposed to eat innings to save the bullpen.

This right here.

The dodgers have the #1 ranked farm system in baseball. somehow despite being competitive nearly every year...

The red sox have the #4 ranked farm system in baseball. somehow despite being competitive nearly every year...3 WS and very good this yr

Sale to boston or LA for top 4 (POSITION PLAYER) blue chip prospects and 1 major leaguer

Quintana to boston or LA for top 2 (POSITION PLAYER) blue chip prospects and 1 major leaguer

Well, that went well.

Not sure why we are wasting Putnam

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 08:21 PM)
His role is long relief

It was Gonzalez role but he has to start tomorrow now.

That's right but with Rodon supposedly hurt a bit they reversed course with Gonzalez. But, Putnam was originally the long relief guy

So uninspiring. I didn't think the Sox would last in the division lead but not fall off like this. Soon to be yet another loss. Unreal.
