June 11, 20169 yr Hostetler was really raving about the catcher they took in the 8th round...how (Burch/Birch) the area scout had him as high on the board as 2nd round talent. Seems to be a defense-first guy who could complement Collins well.
June 12, 20169 yr It will be interesting to see how many guys they draft make the major leagues. Over the last 10 years they have had 3 or 4 drafts where they had 9 picks from a draft make it, pretty surprising, but most performed at about replacement level.
