Payne's BPM this year is a -6.9! Morrow is a -4.8! Joffrey is a -3.1! THREE below replacement level players for your best big & other assets

...Woof

Yes, I hope Taj gets to the playoffs and gets some good moments. Great player to root for.

So maybe the tank IS on?

There's been a couple picks traded today that were a ridiculous "top 55 protected". Anyways I'm hoping that's the case here.

It's just a dump to save face for losing Gasol for nothing last year.

This trade is beyond terrible. Why'd they give up the pick? It's not like any of the players we're getting back are better than Taj.

No...but at least you have them under control in future years (vs. Taj walking). I really don't mind Payne and Lauverigne can be a rotational guy, right? Morrow is just an older Doug. The pick I don't get...but I do think we needed to move Taj. I think we could have done better though.

We still have Jimmy and Wade

From what I read, the BULLS are sending a 2nd round pick to OKC.

We do lead the league in point guards who can't shoot and who currently suck.

I hate NBA hell.

I f***ing hate it.

Bulls have closed blinds so that media can't see into coaches' offices. Strange day at Advocate Center. Lots of sadness surrounding Taj exit

Morrow is complete trash, much worse player than McDermott. Lauvergne is a restricted free agent so he will have to be resigned.

The Bulls somehow managed to make me feel worse about our current situation. Now we have a somehow worse team around Jimmy.

With a roster that isn't even improved for the future.

I am sad to see Taj go, but I get the feeling that he wasn't coming back anyway.

Cowley just said on radio that Mirotic was just called into the office. Dont think that means anything but who knows.

Just a few years ago we were talking about how awful it was to be a top 3 seed every year and leave the playoffs.

nope, this is worse. So much worse.

I agree Morrow is trash. Doug is relative trash too (although I think that is largely because Bulls have ruined him). I didn't realize Lauvergne is a RFA. No way I'd pay him. Even worse deal. I'd rather get to watch Taj for another couple months.

I love morrow but he's just about finished as an NBA player

I hate seeing Taj go.

Woj says Bulls and Celtics weren’t close. Bulls wanted to get pieces of C’s core and not draft picks.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA the Bulls show me by the minute that they are dumber than I thought.

This is why I want no part of allowing them to trade Jimmy and rebuild it. Im surprised they didnt trade Jimmy for Bradley and a second round pick

So, let's go ahead and take a look at what we dealt for Doug McDermott

Jusuf Nurkic, a 22 year old, high-upside center now starting for the Trail Blazers

Gary Harris, the 23 year old, starting 2-guard for the up-and-coming Denver Nuggets

Oh, but we also added a 2nd rounder and Taj Gibson to dump this guy.

F*ck off, GarPax. Can't wait to hear about how Payne is the future.
