What I do miss about the last three years of the Ozzie era…
Dan Pasqua replied to Greg Hibbard's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Ozzie all day everyday. He has everything it takes to win, has won and more experience than any of these ass clown managers we have endured. We start with Ozzie, somehow get an elite catcher and have AJ Pierzinski as bench coach then I might think we could at least be fun again. -
Keep in mind that our organization is such s%*# that imo NOBODY worth a crap will really want to play for us. So I think we are going to suck for way longer than anyone expects. And that is probably optimistic.

This Brewers team is loaded with MLB players... 🤣 I really miss guys like Yount & Molitor. -
How many game suspension you think Ramirez will get?

Really sucked to see that fight and how it turned out for TA.

Grade Rick Hahn's Trade Deadline Performance

Did you see the amount of established talent we gave away for prospects? If we had a solid young catcher our staff and team probably would've been adding instead of selling out. I can't wait to see how Lance Lynn does with Will Smith. My theory has been that our catching has zero clue how to call a game, no clue how to work the zone to move batter eye, no clue of when to waste pitches on 0-2 1-2 counts to get a chase and horrible at framing. If we had a professional baseball catcher I bet this team would be in first place easily. So if Lance Lynn starts kicking ass then we know the importance a catcher has to the team. -
And in 5 more years it's rinse & repeat...no end in sight.

I'm more concerned with the organization having no material pitching ANYFREAKINGWHERE. As well, who was the last pitcher we drafted and had come up thru the system? -

Everything about this organization sucks. I can't watch it on TV because it's atrocious and I can't listen on the radio because Darren & Lenu describe nothing colorful or insightful. -

So we have the technology to determine balls and strikes at 100% accuracy yet we settle for an umpire at 94%. That's so Las Vegas. -
You mean Two Key

We couldn't even trade Luis Robert Jr to the White Sox we suck so bad.

There is absolutely zero to root for with this team. Nothing to look forward to. Nobody close to a baseball player. No reason to watch, listen or go attend. I have problems. Please help me stop!!!! -

Is TA trying to play his way into a trade? This guy is a shadow of himself, but my question is what percent of your brain thinks he's purposely dogging it? I'm starting to get up to about 33% -
I really miss guys like Lance Johnson.
-
In the post game presser did they even ask the a****** this question
-
Okay I'm going to soften my stance only in this regard and that if it's a Hall of Fame hitter up there then give him the option to move the runners over by going the other way or getting the base hit against the picture that he feels he can get a hit against
-
It wasn't a suggestion it's a given in fundamental baseball anybody who has a fundamental mind of baseball would get
-
Exactly if Eloy can't bunt and get somebody up there that can at least it would sacrifice itself for the team. You see you 100% of the time bunt and you were off point by suggesting somebody doesn't bunt
-
Probably because they all ended up hits with his speed Jesus stick to the point
-
You are correct. He wouldn't have needed asking. The crowd would've been chanting JOEY and he would've sacrificed himself. Even if he wouldn't be comfortable in that spot he definitely would've given his best effort.

Two guys are standing in line to get a job, one guy says I can bunt and other says I can't. Who gets the job? Guess which guy the White Sox org is going to hire? Two guys are standing in line to get a job, one guy says with enthusiasm yes I want to practice bunting and I will do it everyday even though I'm tired and it's difficult, the other just says takes the excuse route and doesn't get to day 2 because it takes effort. Guess which guy the White Sox org is going to hire?
