Pitching has done it's part today....come on bats let's get it going

Offense once again struggling to hit fastballs. Almost wish we'd have more guess hitters on the team and cheat on the pitch more.

So are we just going to ignore the fact that everyone in baseball struggles to hit Degrom? He's one of the best pitchers in baseball.

He's a top pitcher, but his velocity isn't even that great today (92-93). Seen way too many struggles by the Sox this year catching up to low 90s fastballs. Today's game plan is quite strange, as they've taken a ton of fastballs to get behind in the count. He's going to easily have his best K performance of the season today at this rate.

One thing you have to give Ventura some credit for are these defensive shifts. They have been positioned quite well today, and have probably saved a few runs through these double plays.

Have been all season....just KC swings a magic wand.

All you can do is ask Miguel Gonzalez to keep you in the game for 5-6 innings each start & he is doing that with consistency.

He's fine as a 5th starter, problem is he's our #4.
