  1. Past hour

  2. This team needs an injection of energy, and more importantly, a reason to fire Acuna into the sun. Any chance this happens??
  3. Of course the Red Sox start sucking after they swept us. It did feel like they peaked with that walk off win.
  4. I said watch out for the Tigers seems like they've been playing nothing but bad teams since the break.
  5. I'm trying to be positive but a win to keep Detroit 3 1/2 back felt good in the 7th inning. A loss and a 2 1/2 game lead just feels really bad. You cannot waste great starts like Burke had.
  6. Had this one in the bag and pissed it away to a bad team. 9th time this year the Sox took a lead into the 7th inning or later and lost the game. These losses really hurt.
  7. A little small sample size theatre for the crowd... Doyle as a White Sox: .823 OPS, 11.7% K%, 2 SB, 1 TOOTBLAN, 2 DRS
  8. Another aspect is dont understand is if you how are going to pitch Taylor two innings, why not just let him start the 8th? Just stupid decisions
  9. Probably a bit premature to post this, but Doyle just might be a dude. He’s been pretty impressive showing some pop, speed, and excellent defense. If Peters doesn’t get it going again, Doyle has been an everyday player in his career and probably deserves to get back to being an everyday player with the Sox.
  10. Well, things can change quickly. Boston just dropped a series to the A's. But the thing about changing is there's no guarantee they change for the better!
  11. I imagine Comerica will be hopping crazy this weekend. Tigers are on the prowl.
  12. They’re about to face the two hottest teams in baseball on the road. We have so many slumping hitters and pitchers. They’re really going to have to turn things around.
  13. He’s struggling also. Looks tired to me
  14. I was wondering about that too. Made me wonder if Romo is walking wounded too or something. I also wondered if Meidroth would have come in had Quero gotten third with less than two outs, but if that's your strategy you're obviously running the risk that you end up with a play that Quero fails to advance to third but a better runner would have.
  15. f*** if I know. He’s an MLB starter who isn’t a power hitter…he sure better be able to bunt men over.
  16. Really wish they kept him around somehow. Braden is starting way too much against lefties.
  17. It seems like they stopped bunting in extras after they traded Hill.
  18. I’ve killed way too many brain cells to remember s%*# that happened in June
  19. Still can’t think of any logical reason that Meidroth wasn’t running for Quero
  20. I didn't watch all the game...can someone tell me why Chase wasn't available to pinch hit for Blackhole Acuña?
  21. Correct, was hoping he’d pull the ball into RF corner
  22. You bunt that ball up the 3b line and Quero advances without issue. Hell, even a good pull bunt does the trick.
  23. I don't think Sam had much of a plan in that at bat. He was just trying to survive. Good effort, but you've gotta do everything you can to pull a ball on the ground there at least. But then again, it's not like the guys after him can be depended on to drive the guy from 3rd in.
