  1. Past hour
  2. Another thing to take away from this: DJ and Caleb are developing chemistry.
  3. After listening to both, the Fox call of the last play was way, way better than Joniak’s. Not complaining, as Burkhardt’s call was amazing.
  4. Haha, I guess I'm older than most posters here, I was a teen in the 80s and I still remember when we would kick Green Bays ass year in and year out in the 80s. It's been very frustrating watching my Bears get embarrassed since the 90s Favre years to the 2010s Rodgers era except for that mid 2000s Lovie Grossman era where we beat an old Favre right before Rodgers owned us again...all that said, this win felt GOOD.
  5. Tell me he can’t throw the deep ball. Again.
  6. Saw someone say that’s where his agent is located, not sure if that’s true or not.
  7. Rex Grossman blew out Green Bay on opening day in 2006 26-0. That’s probably the most dominant game I have seen in this rivalry since it went belly up in favor of Green Bay. The win against the Packers in 2018 was pretty awesome too
  8. I haven't been around long enough to see Bears Packers games from the 90s...so my experience in this rivalry has mostly been the Packers kicking our ass after the Lovie years. I know there's gonna be some recency bias in this, but this has to be the best Bears Packers game in the last 30 years right? I'm sure Packers fans might say the 2013 week 17 or 2018 week 1 might be better cause they won, but none of those games featured 10 pt come backs with 5 minutes left and a walk off touchdown in OT.

  10. Does Chris Getz even have a TikTok account? Surely Schiffren does.
  11. This was like watching a Eberflus defense. They sat in zone all game and never got much pressure rushing 4. Allen getting beat deep twice in the last matchup made him extremely conservative. It would have worked better if the offense didn't keep stalling right outside FG range for most of the game.
  12. This was Caleb's breakout moment. The throws to Walker and Moore were absolutely insane. It's crazy how he just activates when he's in gotta have it situation.
  13. Today
  14. He.Gets.Chicago.Now Jayden Daniels, meanwhile...his durability at that size was always a question mark. Maye has obviously been great, too. One second half against Buffalo from clinching MVP. Not seeing Moore/Mendoza coming anywhere close to that class.
  15. Yeah, but they continue to be unable to get off the field. No punts forced all game.
  16. Waiting for Bregman decision. More like exploratory discussions/setting parameters. See Detroit. Houston Philly Blue Jays SFG DBacks etc.
  17. Imai has Boras as his agent, so there's just no way they're a package deal with Murakami... Cubs also seem to have no interest in getting involved with Boras clients this FA period.
  18. "Kicked the tires" feels lower on the "seat at the table" scale than "engaged in talks" but who knows.
  19. Absolutely wild thread to catch up on. Bravo, y'all.
  20. Yep, and only 3 to Love in almost a half of football
  21. As much as the defense frustrated all of us, they only gave up 16 points
  22. Very well coached, LeFleur had Allen on skates most of the game
  23. "The Chicago Cubs may not be fully sold on pursuing Japanese pitching star Tatsuya Imai, according to recent insider commentary. While the Cubs have been linked to Imai as they explore rotation upgrades, a team insider suggested there is hesitation about committing significant resources without clearer long-term certainty. Concerns reportedly center on the transition to MLB, workload management, and how Imai would fit within the club’s broader development timeline. Chicago remains active in the pitching market but appears determined to avoid overextending financially or blocking younger arms in the system. Imai’s power repertoire and success overseas continue to draw league-wide attention, yet the Cubs are believed to be weighing upside against risk. As the offseason unfolds, Chicago’s cautious approach highlights a front office focused on sustainability rather than splashy moves, even as fans push for aggressive additions." #TatsuyaImai #ChicagoCubs #MLB
  24. It's not that serious bro, but you came in saying this team would get embarrassed in the playoffs while I'm just thinking making the damn playoffs in year one of BJ is a MASSIVE STEP FORWARD. I'm looking big picture, we played GB tough both games, when they had both Love and Parsons in GB, I like our trajectory so far, ok?
