  1. Past hour

  2. Yes Colson! Up the middle. There is a better hitter in him.
  3. nice RBI single up the middle for colson
  4. He has had good at bats today, seems like he is seeing it better
  5. He’s looked good today, even if he didn’t get a hit there.
  6. I keep thinking about this because it makes me slightly erect. The Sox infield has so much damn potential next season. I think our defense can really improve. This is how I would like it to shake our earlier in the season. I think Bonemer will be ready pretty early. C - Teal 1B - Vargas 2B - Chase SS - Colson 3B - Bonemer RF - Braden CF - Peters LF - Chase DH - Mune My only concern is whether Vargas and Mune will be OK with changing positions. I think Vargas is probably a better 1st baseman. Maybe you let them split time to keep Mune happy. Also, playing Vargas occasionally at 3B to keep him happy. I'd imagine Bonemer would be better at 3rd than Vargas. Then there is scenario where Roch is ready mid season. I'm not banking on it, but it's possible. That makes things trickier. Good problem to have. C - Teal 1B - Vargas 2B - Chase SS - Roch 3B - Colson/Bonemer RF - Braden CF - Peters/Bonemer LF - Chase/Bonemer DH - Mune We know the Sox are going to start playing Bonemer at CF now. I think you'd just have to play him almost as a super sub to get him playtime. Not sure this is the best idea, but it's a way to get him at bats regularly. We could also get guys rest regularly this way. What do you guys think it will look like?
  7. Would be nice for Braden to elevate more
  8. We really need Mune to break out of this slump soon
  9. So you were expecting Hicks, Kay, Fedde and Hudson to all be good enough ? Got it . I'll also throw in there that Burke and Martin has gone through long stretches of pitching the best baseball of their lives and Newcomb and Taylor have also got significiantly better, That's 8 guys giving more than expected. Bannister is just the scapegoat flavor of the month because they haven't been able to turn some very young starting pitchers into viable MLB starting pitchers yet.
  10. Nice to see some plays made on the IF.
  11. Kay having some issues putting guys away. Vargas with a nice stop and throw to end the inning

  13. Kay threw more strikes than balls to Duran, that's gotta suck
  14. He wasn’t as sharp tonight but still pretty good. Gave up a run in the first on a leadoff bunt single to third, stolen base without a throw, then a 77 mph soft looping ball over the 2nd baseman’s head. In the 5th he gave up a hard single with one out, stolen base, grazed hit batter, soft single to left. He was pulled after that but it was for pitch count. He was at 90. Gave up a lead off double that he pitched around. Other than that not many hard hit balls. He just wasn’t as efficient tonight.
  15. Romo PR hit live on the air right now
  16. Or let’s just score 20 and let Acuna finish it off.
