  1. Past hour

  2. Wouldn’t say they had a particularly energetic game
  3. He did have a lot of time off with his hamstring injury.
  4. I'm guessing the Braves were pissed being swept by the damn Twins. Let's see what they can do against a red hot Mets club this weekend.
  5. We are going to need to find days to rest Mune here and there. The MLB grind is diffident to Japan.
  6. I’m also a fan of letting Fedde start his own game. An opener doesn’t really seem to make him better or worse, so just let him start the dumb game and see what happens
  7. 4-4 in our supposed grind from Hell. I'll take it.
  8. Yep, we all would have taken 3.5 up this time last week
  9. Go 4-3 this homestand, or even better 5-2 and we’ll take it.
  10. It's primarily a quality of contact metric (EV and LA) and more location neutral. Riley's double was hard hit but had more hangtime, and a higher angle hit to the OF will be caught more often than a low liner at 105mph.
  11. I will agree. Although I would be slightly disappointed with the third wild card spot.
  12. A couple of outs seemed like on other days with the wind neutral or blowing out, would have been outta here. Then we’d all be singing phrase and smelling roses. I’m having visions of holding up a sign that says “SHUT THE f*** UP” when we record the final out to secure an ALCS championship and World Serious birth. In reality, if we simply win the division it’s a massive win. 99.9% of White Sox fandom thought this team finishing in this season 10 games under .500 would have been a pipe dream.
  13. I don’t think it’s ever time to panic during a player’s draft year. If he’s struggling next year, then I’ll be worried.
  14. Just make postseason and the year is a raging success. Would hate for them not to make it after being in such good position and lose fan momentum heading into possible lockout.
  15. Even if they failed to make the postseason, this season has been a huge success. The organization is no longer a laughing stock and may be able to actually be seen as a place guys want to play for now.
  16. I do find flaws in how they determine xBA sometimes. You’re telling me that is more likely to be a hit than Riley’s liner down the left field line?
  17. I can't wait for the post about how bad we are blah blah blah. We are going to make the ALCS and some people will be so busy complaining that they won't be able to enjoy it.
  18. The Braden lineout had a higher xBA than any of the Braves hits in the game, just one of those days
  19. We get it. You’re not impressed. Now step away from the ledge and shut the f*** up.
  20. I thought ump was fine with Holmes pitching. Got worse with the relievers
  21. The sky isn’t falling. Over the last 5 weeks they’re exactly 15 and 15. They also swept the only division games they played in that period. They keep playing at even a .500 clip while beating the central and we win the division. Simply put: Shut the f*** up… please.
  22. Peter’s and Romo both smoked balls right the centerfielder as well.
  23. Roch gets drilled by a lot of pitches. Hope he wears a lot of protection :)
  24. MIL as the opener was such an unlucky draw, would like to have seen that matchup after the Sox found their footing. But I certainly won't complain about seeing any of those teams again this year lol
