  3. He better concerned when his OPS dips into the .600s.

  5. You're pretty wordy for a guy who just got on me about words. You posts 3 or 4 times as much as me so you're a hypocrite too on top of being a hater. The thread was about a poll very simple. Caulfield gave you an opening to hate with his stirring the hornets nest post about some Sox , then Boston reject now with a .6 War and you turned that into your personal crusade to find fault with a team that is way better then you ever expected they would be, and you pounced on it . You're the one causing trouble in a non controversial thread. It was a poll that you didn't even vote on so started by me that you just had to enter for the sole purpose of finding a way to be your whiny -ass self. Dude start a hater's thread . Don't infest every thread you can. Go start a fire Bannister thread if a couple of 22-23 year old pitchers and rejects that can't turn into studs makes you so angry. For a couple years now it's been the Sox don't have any pitching they're going to break the loss record again or they're going to to lose 100 again and you and your Disciples of Doom (which numbers very few now), despite being wrong again and again keep s%*#-posting. Keep it coming let's get this thread shut down because you can't stop yourself from ever hating constantly. It's pathetic.. Little man is in reference to your hateful nature .You can't even recognize a metaphor. Pathetic.
  6. Your SLC comment will get you in agua caliente lol.realistic SLC is a bit more realistic than many would guess. The Salt Lake TribuneSalt Lake City is a ‘heavy favorite’ to get a Major Leagu...Portland and Austin have lined up behind Utah, trying to make a late push for commissioner Rob Manfred’s attention.
  7. You were right with the first statement. You have no clue. @Chicago White Sox alredy covered Nashville, considering he lived there. Louisville? Are you serious? Compete with Reds, Cubs, and Cardinals fans? That’s a horrible location. Salt Lake City? Mormons care more about gaining wives and having children than worrying about baseball. No, the cities you suggested would not be more profitable than Chicago, even with the Cubs around. Quite frankly, some of your takes are so hilariously outlandish that an admin should ban you for simply sharing them. It seems like you are intentionally trolling, especially with this post. If you aren’t, lord help you…
  8. He dropped the Twins' bid specifically to be an integral part of a/the new stadium project...that stadium isn't great in the Twin Cities (too much concrete) but it's far from old enough to replace again.
  9. There's always the AFL to panic. Bonemer already played or this will be first year? Carlson could handle it defensively, but probably needs a full healthy High A season to be ready.
  10. Agreed, and I remember when you moved there. I was just giving @nrockway a chance, but his takes are usually misguided at best. No actual proof or evidence of why any of the cities he named could potentially be more profitable than Chicago, even with the Cubs around.

  13. Probably because of his performance the plate. Him tipping pitched is no beuno.
  14. It wouldn’t…Nashville is tiny. I know this cause I lived there. And Nashville isn’t going to pay for a baseball stadium, so it’s a fucking moot point always.
  15. Quero will have to Kerrigan Romo soon
  16. I really hate loud uninformed people and my god are you one of them. Dude is literally spending millions upon millions of dollars buying real estate in the south loop for a future stadium and yet you still post this garbage.

  18. But it’s much easier to simply call him a mortgage slimeball than have any knowledge of his background
  19. Nashville doesn't have the the public financing required/or any real $$$ committed for that matter. That was another Dave Stewart/TLR-headed venture, anyway. Everything goes to/went to the Titans' new facilty and UT-Knoxville in that state. Media markets won't matter as much if there's going to be a shared MLB split across 30 teams by MLB TV/ESPN/Disney.
  20. Yeah I agree with you about not wanting another green monster. It's fine for Fenway since it's super old and historic. It would be lame to have that in a new stadium though.

  22. Three factoids today: August 15, 1922 - In front of 2,500 fans at Fenway Park, the White Sox and Red Sox set an A.L. record with 35 singles in a 19-11 Chicago win. The White Sox had 21 of the one-baggers, Boston 14. The two clubs combined for 43 hits total (25 Chicago, 18 Boston) and were a combined 23-of-39 with runners in scoring position. Eddie Mulligan and Earl Sheely led the club with three singles apiece (Sheely added a double). The White Sox actually trailed this one, 10-8, after Boston put up a seven run sixth inning. But the South Siders scored 11 in the final three frames, including their own seven spot in the ninth, to put the game away. Ted Blankenship wound up getting the win in relief with Urban “Red” Faber picking up the save. August 15, 1973 - G. M. Roland Hemond acquired starting pitcher Jim Kaat on waivers from Minnesota. All “Kitty” did was become a two-time 20 game winner for the Sox in 1974 and 1975. He made the All-Star Team in 1975 and won 45 games in two and a quarter years in Chicago. He also won the Gold Glove for pitchers in the American League for his fielding ability. August 15, 1996 - White Sox first round draft pick Bobby Seay was declared a free agent because the team failed to offer a formal contract within 15 days of the draft. He was reportedly asking for a two million dollar signing bonus which would have been a record for the time and refused to negotiate with Sox G.M. Ron Schueler when he flew down to see him in Florida telling him to talk with his agent Scott Boras. The southpaw became the first player in the 32 years of the draft to become a free agent in the same summer he was selected. Seay signed with Tampa Bay in November for around three million dollars and made his MLB debut six years later.
  23. Haha, it would be interesting but I too think it’s lame as hell. Playing a ricochet off the Game of Thrones Wall shouldn’t be a thing in baseball. 🤣
  24. Yep, everything Getz did was about playing for the future as much as this year with the year(s) of control that each player he acquired had remaining. But Boston gave up a huge package for Adley and Stephenson wasn’t even traded. I don’t have a problem with the Bart acquisition. He would have been a good add going forward if he didn’t break his hand after three games. Brazoban was a nice acquisition but don’t think Doyle was needed at all. But yes, Getz should be grilled for not acquiring a second starter, even if it was a rental starter.
  25. True that, but do fans want another green monster ricochet wall ? Better to acquire more land and according to 77 Hitmen, that seems to be the direction.
