  1. Past hour

  2. Yes, Turner Field. I remember little. The parking lot was on the old stadium's footprint. They left the outfield wall. Was not digging the tomahawk chop.
  3. Hopefully we can get some nice W’s gifted to us on Thanksgiving and Christmas days this year.
  4. The one thing they haven't been able to do is win in the division so far this year, and that HAS to change if they want to move on.

  6. Hopefully. Last 4 games of the season are going to be real tough. Buffalo, Green Bay Sucks, Detroit and Minnesota to close it out. Should be a very fun December/January.
  7. Grab a pitcher from this list. Trading for a starter is silly.
  8. Yeah that looked like a clear ligament tear, especially given his reaction
  9. I like Roger’s too. Lefty arms are always a plus in this division.
  10. It was over the finger of a defender, by mere inches, and behind Rome where only he could catch it, and that ball was a tight spiral. GYRATING as Tom would say
  11. Today

  12. I'm hoping in reverse jinx - it will be the opposite of the Bryant reports from players.
  13. The tenor of the players quotes regarding Kmet and a lot of the posts on Twitter and bluesky seem to think the year is over for Cole
  14. He was playing pretty well given the lack of holes. Looked like he got stronger as game went on and you know he's already playing banged up. Rest comes at a good time, really hoping Kmet's injury is in that 4-6 week timeline and we get him back for stretch line vs. a season ending injury.
  15. Not going to lie, I was wondering how they would come back with a target on their back and a much tougher schedule, but they are doing enough to win games, even when Caleb was out.
  16. It is the best throw I've seen from a 'how did you think to throw that', he also had one of those vs. Oakland last year when he hit a leaping rome when he looked completely covered.
  17. I can't figure out what I want. Sorta think we'd be a good option for Rogers because we've handled these boom/bust eras well last year, but I also just want a guy we can trust. Will be excited to fill out the staff
  18. I was at the Trop to see the White Sox Friday night game in the series this summer (we won)! I had a better experience at the Trop than I would have guessed. It is sterile. It is odd. The bullpen situation is just...strange! But...customer service was outstanding! People were friendly! We hit some BOMBS that night (so did Junior)! Interesting that you mentioned the lighting...one of my takeaways from that night was how easy it was to see the ball. The lighting was great for what I thought was going to be a subpar experience. I enjoyed watching a game at the Trop way more than I ever guessed I would. Although it had a very different feel to it when compared to attending an outdoor game!
  19. We’ll see. At the very least, I hope he’s a very solid player for us. I’d love to see him give the new exploding scoreboard a workout in a few years at the Railyards.
  20. Caleb's arm is something else.
  21. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/article/mlb-free-agency-top-50-ranking-the-best-players-available-this-winter-starting-with-tarik-skubal-and-freddy-peralta-200115707.html Everything from the 30's on pretty much a crapshoot in this class that probably ends with only 3 guys breaking $100 million. Skubal Peralta and Sato "Sato's strikeout rate has hovered around 27% the past two seasons, while Murakami's was closer to 30%. The crucial distinction between the two players' plate discipline profiles is that while Sato whiffs less (especially in-zone) than Murakami, he chases significantly more pitches outside the strike zone. So while Sato might not strike out as often as Murakami, he might have a much tougher time offsetting those strikeouts with walks. The other element tilting in Sato's favor is his defensive outlook. He is not a definitive lock to stay at third base, but he has the athleticism to warrant a longer look at the hot corner than Murakami, who was immediately moved to first. Sato and his strong arm could also profile well in a corner outfield spot. Of course, it's still all about the bat, and if a team believes he can fully translate his special slugging potential, Sato is going to get paid handsomely."
  22. Just thinking about that throw to Rome
  23. Fegan getting a bit too high on his own supply while typing up articles.
  24. Honestly I thought Swift’s knee injury looked worse earlier in the game, he got a helmet directly to the knee cap, I thought he was done for a while. Turned out to be just a gash and was back in a couple plays later. Damn these dudes are tough.
  25. Mods are asleep.
