We tried to "improve" all those guys by moving them their off initial positions. Leave Burger at 3B/1B/DH. Would have been better to just run Hernandez out there and hope for an offensive rebounds. You're just going to get him hurt again. We keep saying it's so easy to find corner outfielders, DH's, 1B...heard over and over again that Madrigal would be easily replaced, too. The only sort of logical thing is they're trying to play up his versatility to boost potential trade value.

Maris hit more homers against the Sox with 13 than any other team on his way to 61 in 61. I remember seeing 2 of them at old Comiskey.

F it - Bears should just hire Shoen and Dabol. Seriously I don’t want to over think this. Bills have drafted well, made good trades, run a good team. Don’t get cute and take the two Bills guys. Than see if Dabol can go lure Fangio to be DC :). I want Dabol building an offense around Fields. I also want Dabol bringing Ken Dorsey with him.

Let me get this straight, you want to rock a defense with Vaughn/Sheets in RF and Burger at 2B? Like I can’t imagine what that would do to our team defense. I’m all for letting Jake learn the position in camp/minors and enhance his versatility, but entering the season with him as the starting 2B on the major league club is the definition of insanity.

Worked well with Beckham, Viciedo, Josh Fields and Teahen. Can add Marcus Semien.

This is where talent evaluation based on experience is relevant. Possibly Burgur or Vaughn could play 3B, but I don't think Moncada will move back to second. Maybe the Sox sign a FA like Trevor Story or trade for Lux or somebody for 2B. That Madrigal trade looks worse every day. A hole that Hahn created for nothing.
