  1. Yes, Jerry Reinsdorf is, far and away, the worst owner in all of sports. No others come clo..... wait a minute!
  2. The Orioles' organization is really something else.
  3. My wife once asked me how I'd feel about the Cubs winning it all, and I said it would be like the Brewers winning. It would be nice for them, their fans. I wouldn't troll them upon losing, as I hate that being done to me. in 2016, I didn't participate. I don't even think I was in the country. Didn't plan around the eventuality as I would with the Sox. I see no reason to root for the Cubs. They tell us all the time they have so many more fans, so I think they're covered for the rooting.

Okay, enough!! They already have the Clarence Carter records out, go with the nickname that took Clarence from soup bones to t-bones! Patches!!!
  5. He's a backup catcher. Backup catchers are generally automatic outs. Lee sucks, and while it's fun to dream that Michael Tucker would be another Fisk, he's minor league depth.
  6. Giving Teel and Monty a breather. Big deal.
  7. Since returning from tweaking his back, Colson Montgomery has started the last 17 games.
  8. In the case of needing a guy to pitch starter's innings today who hasn't just thrown 4 innings last night, yes. Very much so.
  9. Rock was on the 40-man. They needed a body.
  10. They're promoting Boston Smith to AA, so maybe that opens a slot at the lower levels they're trying to fill.
  11. Why not? They've probably tried a dozen different ways to get him to throw strikes consistently, and he can't. They're limited on roster size, and the total number of players they can have in their system. Maybe the Rangers wanted him now, and they're going to need roster slots with guys like McDougal and Shane Smith starting their own AAA IL rehab assignments. Plus, you have the draft in a couple weeks, and promotions and cuts to make room for some of those guys. The Sox have been grabbing guys off of waivers and throwing them out on the mound. Nikhazy, Bido, Lucas Sims, Joe Rock, Trevor Richards. There has obviously been an opportunity for a guy like Peoples to pull it together and get some major league innings. He couldn't.
  12. Thanks. I learn a lot looking up music related to the cities we're playing against. I try to mix it up.
  13. He clearly wasn't in their plans.
  14. I was rooting for Kelenic. That would have been a fun win, turning him around.
  15. 2028
  16. He needed a replacement for Boston Smith, who is going to get called up to replace Drew Romo. [just kidding]
  17. They should really be careful with these long batting innings. Fedde sits, and when he comes back out for the next inning, he's just .... older.
  18. Ain't gonna call Junior Perez Junior anymore.
  19. Grichuk OPS's .570 against RHPs this year, whereas Perez' splits are a little more neutral. And Perez is a much better fielder.
