  1. I see six spring TV broadcasts scheduled starting Sunday at 2:05.
  2. Is there a Sox radio schedule that has no mention of TLDR.
  3. The language concerns are real which is why I have long called for bi-lingual classes for everyone which is also a bonding experience.
  4. One of the writers faulted owner malfeasance in handling extension offers to prospects. I do not agree with that. Both sides have rights.
  5. Instead of feeling righteous send the guy to Gloria Steinem training camp. He suffers from bad judgment. He has to serve some consequences.
  6. I don't think the Sox normally consult Steve either though he may have the owner's ear. Kenny used to say the fans should buy more tickets.
  7. Not sure if anyone mentioned Juan Pizarro who was called home Thursday. Juan was not only a mainstay of some great Sox pitching staffs of the 1960's but was traded for Wilber Wood in 1966. Pretty significant.
  8. James Karinchak hopes to be the CBC late inning leverage guy and closer. He struck out 49% of 103 batters faced last year. Amed Rosario from the Mets figures to get first look as Lindor's replacement but there is no clear favorite at this point.
  9. Sox payroll is under a Covid freeze. If things normalize this summer they can take on some salary for a quality starter.
  10. Every Sox season demands a new team slogan. Weekend At Tony's is my nominee.
  11. Having the most Top 100 guys was completely Jerry's fault. He could have spent a couple billion and put us over the top so to speak.
  12. I had questioned a number of times whether the Sox knew about the DUI and now the story makes more sense. The Sox are the owner's toy.
  13. My favorite was the 7:11 game times. They made million$ off of that deal. Not.
  14. Tony is not a boomer ok boomer? Not if he is 76.
  15. The Sox record with FA DH's is worthy of an ESPN docudrama.
  16. I think the Sox budget went on lockdown once Covid became a thing. Maybe by July there will be a new focus. The consensus seems to be that they could afford to spend some more money. I would prefer a May start to the season which would help. They could make Level 500 Covid-only
  17. I guess schedules have gone back to normal by default. I thought maybe the two sides would be talking.
  18. Marvin Miller never wanted complete free agency. He thought it would suppress salaries of many average guys.
  19. Shout-out to Fresno who went from AAA to Low A ball while the Sugarland Skeeters went from Indy to AAA.
  20. What I saw was Robert getting nudged off the plate which reduced his contact on outer pitches.
  21. I could see LaRussa using Eaton for leadoff. Not every day of course. Loves the vets.
  22. I've got Rodon down for 200 innings Not many guys do that anymore. The trend is obvious.
  23. You youngsters might not recall that LaRussa invented the second leadoff guy in the nine spot. Julio Cruz.
