  1. Last week they said it was not Covid but that could change. One guy tested negative and died a week or so later.
  2. My issue is with the duo straining to be funny and getting way off base. They don't add much to my game experience.
  3. They will need two parks I think. This puts them in a tough spot to compete so I will be pulling for them.
  4. Will need that much offense to compete. Big test this weekend. I think the Twins SP's might be better than ours.
  5. Of course you need SP depth and with Kopech gone the guys like Dunning will get a chance.
  6. It's more important that people don't have to wear masks.
  7. You cannot sleep on Adam Engel no sir.
  8. If Robert by chance opens the season like this they just won't pitch to him. Right now he looks superhuman.
  9. This is quite all right. When you hear guys say LONG GONE that's an Ernie Harwell.
  10. Buffalo needs lighting upgrades, Rochester is the backup backup. Any minors park needs the play review equipment installed. Florida is too poisoned. The players want a major league park but who wants to bring more teams into their home park. That could be difficult.

I hope Robert makes the cut.
  12. His contract was subject to passing a physical and he did not.
  13. In spite of false reports of a deal by Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Canada's immigration minister has advised the Jay's that their request for a quarantine exemption has been denied. The Jay's will not be able to play games in Canada. The culprit is US hotspots where players would be traveling to and from. Canada has a much lesser spread of CV and only a couple of hot spots. Their AAA park in Buffalo is in play but would require upgrades for replay or lighting tech so a decision remains to be made. Quite a mess.
  14. We are dealing with people in denial who expect schools and teachers to accommodate them to jumpstart the economy. My office landlord wondered if I had sent rent. I guess because the guys next door are moving out. Yes I did thanks but don't bother me.
  15. Safe to say that Cease has earned at least a couple of starts and is ahead of Rodon at this point. Rodon still getting back on track.
  16. Would have been the perfect time to go to a permanent 30 man which makes the game more interesting and the roster more balanced.
  17. This person is a reckless danger to society.
  18. People are losing their flipping minds. The Chuck Woolery's of the world and their death-cult.
  19. You can hate the owners but guess who has to pony up the operating capital. It's kind of silly to take sides esp. now.
  20. To me the issue could be how many young soldiers do we need to step up? Not worried about LuRob except injuries and Madrigal seems pretty smooth. How many young arms are needed is the issue.
  21. Double broadcast Sunday night. ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball to return this weekend with White Sox vs. Cubs written by Joe Binder July 16, 2020 Chicago’s crosstown rivals will be returning to the national spotlight this weekend. According to Sports Media Watch, ESPN will be broadcasting Sunday night’s White Sox vs. Cubs exhibition at Wrigley Field.
  22. Blue Jay's still without a home. The Jay's are in a bubble at Rogers Center and US visitors would be subject to quarrentine. I don't see this working out given the US numbers. Maybe by next week they will realize it's time to pack up the bus for Buffalo. They have the national, provincial and city regs all working against them. Not happening.
  23. The owner gets to reward the team leader. Let's get over it and let him lead. They have a competitive team that believes they can contend.
  24. Could be a temporary shortage of income next year. You ask for one year of concessions then give them back. Baseball still has a lot of equity valuation we know.
  25. (670 The Score) White Sox and Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf is facing financial losses that "are in the nine figures" combined across his two franchises amid the coronavirus pandemic, he told USA Today in a story that published Wednesday. Most of that financial loss will come on the baseball side, with the season shortened to 60 games without fans in the stands.
