Sox at Brewers 3/29, 1:10 CT
Sox need Kay to go at least 6 innings. They can't be wearing the bullpen out this early in the season. The starters have to find a way to eat some innings.

At least we have one reason to watch Sox games now. I know it is way early but with the great eye he has shown at the plate that can only translate to him knowing exactly what he is looking for and jumping on it when he gets it.

This is quickly looking like it could be another 100+ loss season. The starting pitching has looked awful. We can only hope the young guys are good enough to get called up sooner rather than later.

He looks like he should be playing in an over 50 softball league.

I'm really impressed with the discipline Murakami has at the plate. I expected to see a free swinger with all the strike outs he had in Japan.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
Montgomery has looked terrible. Just a huge letdown of an opening day from everyone. 18 K's is just laughable.

Does it though?

Murakami has a good eye at the plate. Much better than I expected.

Smith is awful. Going to have to bring up the young guys sooner than later.

Per Passan: White Sox sign Munetaka Murakami 2 years 34M
I was going to say, he has a beautiful looking swing, now it's all about improving his contact rate. Also he looks very athletic with his fielding at first.

OD 26 Man Roster Projection
I know I'm probably in the minority but I don't like Meidroth as the 2b moving forward. He does nothing exceptionally well and his total lack of any pop in his bat and run production should be enough to move on from him.

This is nothing but a huge positive for the Sox and their fans. I don't care to hear about anything negative related to this. This signing combined with getting the No1 pick has been more than welcome positive news and no fan base deserves this more than White Sox nation.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
How about Carlson at 2B, Cholowsky at SS, and Montgomery at 3B. That would be a really good defensive infield. You have B. Montgomery in CF and Teel and or Quero at C and that is a strong up the middle baseball team. Now find a 1Bwho can hit for power and a couple above average corner Outfielders and the Sox will be cooking with gas.

9/11 Sox vs. Rays 1:10PM
I think he will get better at the tactical part of the game as he gains more experience. It's only his first year as the head guy. I hope so anyway.

Really like how Venable and the team are playing this season out. They have made a big deal about finishing strong and avoiding another 100 loss season. Also building for next season. For the first time in a long time I see some hope for this franchise. I really like Venable. I think he has the perfect positive demeanor for a young and building team. Players like him and play hard for him. I think if JR would open the check book free agents would really want to come play in Chicago for a contending team. It is a great city. MLB players ranked Chicago has their second most favorite road city behind only San Diego.

White Sox @ Detroit; Smith vs Flaherty 5:40pm CST
Quietly Venable is becoming a very good Manager. His players respect and like him and most importantly they play really hard for him. I don't want to get too excited but I have to admit I feel more positive about this team and their future than I have in a long while. Now it's really important they finish this season strong. Go in to the off season feeling really good about the direction this franchise is finally headed.

I don't know what you do with Mead. He is only 24.

Quero can flat out hit. You do not trade Quero or Teel. You maybe move Lee if you can get a great return.

We could be Royals: KC at Sox 6:40CDT 8/25, my man Josh has abdicated on the 20 minute rule
I did not realize that Mead is only 24 yrs old.

I don't think Teel is tall enough to be a good 1st baseman. They list him at 6' but I think he may be shorter.

Sosa is proving he can hit. Yes his fielding needs work but he is only 25. He needs to spend the entire off season working on his defense.

What do you do with Lee, Teel, and Quero. I like all 3 of them.

Taylor isn't part of the future and Baldwin might be. They need to play Baldwin the rest of the way to see who is and if he can be part of this team moving forward.
