  1. You have right behind home plate, front row seat, and you spend the whole game looking at your fricking phone. There at least three people doing that at this game including the m&m jacket guy who is at all the Sox games.
  2. After yesterday I'm betting TLR lets Kimbrel close this one today.
  3. The Tigers are going to be in second place here pretty quick the way they are playing. I hate the Tigers.
  4. Hopefully the Sox get this crappy play out of their system here in August and then get everybody back and playing well come September. They have a big division lead and frankly they look like they are just going through the dog days of August.
  5. Cease has great stuff. Just needs to learn how to pitch. We forget how little experience he has.
  6. Cease has to start throwing strikes way more consistently. He has to pitch through at least the 6th in most every start. Get this team to the 7th with the lead.
  7. This game is exactly what you can expect to see in a playoff game. Pitching pitching pitching and timely hitting.
  8. Kimbrel was a tremendous pic up for this team. Come playoff time it is all about pitching and defense and timely hitting.
  9. The team is just in the doldrums right now. Missing players, big division lead, everyone saying they have the Division won. As long as they get everyone back healthy by September and begin playing well a few weeks before the playoffs that is all that matters.
  10. Yoan still has a lot of maturing to do as a professional ball player. He is not nearly as dedicated to the game and becoming a great player as he should be. He has all the tools for sure it's the mental side of the game where he is lacking.
  11. Lambert won't last more than 3 innings if that
  12. Keuchel is just washed up. I would of loved to see him moved at the deadline. He can't ever get past the 5th inning before getting lit up.
  13. Looking for the Sox bats to break out tonight and put up a big number.
  14. Sheets has to go base to base. The guy is like 250LBS.
  15. Great piece of hitting by Vaughn to no avail.
  16. Does Tepera get the 7th Kimbrel get the 8th and Hendricks the 9th?
  17. Honestly I love this deal. Pitching and defense win championships. Madrigal is an average fielding 2b and hits for no power at all. Heur has been pitching worth a crap for a long time. Sox now have 2 shutdown arms to pitch the 8th and 9th.
  18. The guy is a gold glove 2b. Defense and pitching win playoff games.
  19. Go get Kimbrel!
  20. This loss had nothing to do with the pitching. Other than Vaughn nobody is hitting. NOBODY!. You can't score at least 4 runs against KC? And now Eloy could be hurt again? I'm starting to think it just isn't meant to be this year.
  21. They have to get Vaughn, Jimenez, and Abreau all in the lineup at the same time as much as possible.
  22. He just doesn't have the mental make up to be any more than that.
  23. To the resident experts on this injury to Robert. What are the chances he aggravates the same injury? Was that injury somewhat of a freak thing? I agree his mental recovery from the injury will be every bit as hard as the physical part.
  24. Kopech showed some balls there!
  25. This team is playing on fumes right now. They desperately need Jiminez, Robert, Grandal, and a new 2nd baseman in the lineup. The offense against top starting pitching is a corpse. These are exactly the pitchers the Sox will see in every playoff game.
