If the highest offer right now is 7 years between $200-$250 mil that is considerably less than what many thought he was going to get. Does anyone on here feel if the Sox went up to $300 mil for 10 years we’d get Manny now?

If the Sox take all of Kemp and Wood’s contract do they really have to send the Dodgers something substantial back?

If Hahn calls the Dodgers up and says we’ll take Kemp and Wood off your hands so you can sign Harper, but Verdugo and Ruiz have to be included do the Dodgers make that deal?

The Dodgers would want to unload Kemp more than anyone. If the Sox take all of Kemp and Wood’s contract to help the Dodgers land Harper they better throw in Verdugo and Ruiz. That’s the only way I’d do it.
