Sox In on Lindor? Crackpot Rumor?
Much better than that David Price bullshit

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
Why does anyone really want Price? We'll all be pissed that we have him when he's getting lit up in June. The guy is done

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
Jerry Reinsdorf, Kenny Williams, Rick Hahn, Jon Paxson, and Gar Foreman does it for me

Don Cooper’s Eventual Replacement
Not sure if it’s something he’d want to do, but I love listening to John Smoltz discuss pitching on MLB network. Something I’ve never said about Coop. I think he is someone that would automatically have the respect from our pitchers just based on accomplishments alone.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
If Ian Anderson is who Atlanta is willing to trade I'm all for giving them Colome and Bummer

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
If the Rangers stay in the race wonder if they’ll be interested. Anyone know the Rangers situation at closer? Cole Winn would be a nice get.

Nick Madrigal promoted to Birmingham
Where do you guys think Madrigal’s spot in the lineup will be when he finally makes it to Chicago? I really want Vizquel to lead him off so he can get acclimated to being a true lead off hitter in the bigs.

2019 MLB draft thread
3. White Sox – Andrew Vaughn, 1B, Cal In the event Vaughn/Bleday goes first and Witt goes at two, this is Rutschman’s floor, however unlikely that scenario is. The tide has shifted again at this pick and Vaughn now looks to be the favorite with Georgia prep SS C.J. Abrams fading, possibly far. Texas prep 3B Brett Baty is the cut-rate option, but appears to be a long shot. Particularly if they can cut here, the White Sox are looking to float an overpay prep arm to their second pick, but that may be tough sledding. Who is the prep arm they would be interested in?

Baty over Abrams? Edit: I see your answer above

What is percentage of being able to make a deal with Houston for Yordan Alvarez before tomorrow’s draft? Then we can eliminate Vaughn from the discussion at #3 for good.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
I wish it was Yolmer instead of Garcia, but if we have to sweeten the deal with Colome for something good in return I’m all for it.

6/2 Games
Not giving updates on players seems to be the Sox way of doing things. Didn’t hear anything for awhile on Hansen or Puckett last year. Dunning gets surgery first then we hear about if afterward. Kopech felt like he was ahead of schedule in March, but not a word since. Burger hitting in the cages in March, and nothing since.

Goldschmidt stole 32 bases one year. Are you removing them from your comparison? Why haven’t comps for Vaughn been more like Konerko?

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
What are realistic expectations for a guy that was traded for Omar Narvaez? It feels like teams would be looking at Colome as a guy they could get for nothing

Let’s hope this is how Baltimore views it and they pass on Adley.

2019 MLB draft thread
Has anyone been watching Vaughn lately? With him being the best hitter on the team I wonder if he’s swinging at bad pitches because he doesn’t want to take the walks. Is he trying to do too much, or completely getting blown away?

2019 MLB draft thread
I found this article about a catcher in the Royals system that they’re high. Wonder if this would make them out on Adley? More to keep an eye on: After a strong first full professional season, there's little doubt that MJ Melendez is the heir apparent to Salvador Perez behind the plate in Kansas City. Melendez possesses good power, finishing 2018 with 19 homers and 73 RBIs, but needs to tighten up his approach to become a more well-rounded hitter. He's also good defensively, throwing out more than 40 percent of would-be basestealers and showing overall strong poise as a backstoprofessional season.

Hahn on Manny Loss...
Sounds valid to me. You are the “insider” we’ve all been waiting for!

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
If it’s all guaranteed money I wouldn’t be so down on this FO if that’s what we offer. If Harper gets more than that from someone else, so be it.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
I guess stupid money meant here’s our offer that we feel is good enough, and Harper would be stupid for taking it

Everyone has been shitting on Nightengale and Heyman for their tweets, and it’s accepted. Why is that, and his post are ok?
