  1. Renteria will save his challenge for tomorrow.
  2. He's not striking out enough people to merit this. Just like my rule about stupid facial hair, if you suck in this game, you better be clean cut.
  3. If the helmet stays on Moncada, that's another sign.
  4. By the eye test, I would have gone Moncada, Grandal, Eloy, and Abreu as far as Exit Velo.
  5. I'm sure Dallas appreciates it. Save the ERA.
  6. Maybe Mendick just wanted to get off the bases to get out the way.
  7. Obviously a straight steal is as dumb as fucks can be.
  8. Guaranteed Castellanos would be sucking here also. It's a toxic complacent clubhouse.
  9. Whatever the fuck Giolito is doing to warm up before games, that needs to change. He is back to 2018 wildness with the only thing saving him form complete free fall is his ability to get some strike outs now compared to 2018. He's been brutal. It's demoralizing to have your "ACE" out there put you in a quick 4-0 hole every other start out there.
  10. Ricky is going to ride Grandal and his sub .290 SLG% hitting 3-4 the rest of the season, as if he's got 140 games left to turn it around. The sense of urgency is so aggravating. 1000% Hahn will BS us this next off-season using the COVID shortened season as his and Ricky's crutch on why we shouldn't judge the team by this season's results.
  11. Grandal, Abreu, and Eloy are the key reasons why this offense currently sucks. .644 / .697 / .661 OPS from the #3, #4, and #5 is not acceptable.
  12. He'd be here, but he'd probably be struggling and "getting acclimated." Renteria would have hitting 8th "to protect him."
  13. Yeah, I wouldn't.
  14. He and Grandal a big fat 0 each.
  15. This team is just allergic to taking walks.
  16. Bad umping gets so magnified when your team can't hit for shit.
  17. I can guarantee to you that if anything, Dunning is being stretched out in Schaumburg to start in case either of Lopez or Rodon cannot make it back on the next turn. Dunning is coming back from TJ, the bullpen is not a good idea for him at this time because of the daily availability that's required from relievers. If he starts, the Sox can control when he pitches and he can work off a set schedule to be able to try to stay healthy.
  18. Bummer got hurt IMO on that fielding play and throw he one hopped to 1B that Abreu couldn't handle. The next pitch he threw after that was his last one. I always cringe when pitchers have to make plays/throws along the 3B line. Or anytime off the mound. It's a different stress type of throw which can easily injure you since you're not usually throwing after running, stopping, and then planting.
  19. Rongey was fine until he became Bernstein's lap dog.
  20. Did you watch the game? Madrigal slid ass first and jammed his arm.
  21. I'll take a separated shoulder over what appeared to be a broken forearm or dislocated elbow from his reaction.
