Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
This thread went from "Realistic trade candidates" to trading the entire farm plus absorbing $400 million for Mike Trout.

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
That would be Mike Ditka / Ricky Williams silliness.

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
The Yankees tend to get everyone whenever they want. They still have to play the games. They don't win the World Series every year.

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
No you wouldn't, and only a dumb team would. There's $400 million attached to that.

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
The Sox have never had a $100 million contract. Trout is $400 million +

sorry to have hijacked this thread, meant to respond in the trade thread.

Madrigal to the IL/Delmonico Optioned
Not knowing where Kopech's head is right now or going forward, I'd trade him first before I would Cease.

Carson Fulmer released by Tigers
Getting something out Ross Detwiler (a similar first round burnout) has alleviated some of the Fulmer pain for me. At least we're getting some good work from Ross out of the pen.

8-22 GT: Sox @ Cubs (7:15pm)
You still should have gone with Gonzalez with Rizzo and Schwarb hitting that inning. It's little things like that liking for this skipper.

8-22 GT: Sox @ Cubs (7:15pm)
Problem is, he can't command one pitch let alone 2 to be an effective reliever. Can't relief if you can't throw strikes.

2021 Free Agent Pitchers
Reinsdorf has already left the writing on the wall with every chance he gets in talking Baseball Economics. The Sox are not spending on a big free agent next season. Please Sox fans, do yourself a favor and stop dreaming here once again.

8-21 GT: Sox @ Cubs (7:15pm)
Ricky survived the outcome, but only he can piss manage what was almost a perfect night.

8-21 GT: Sox @ Cubs (7:15pm)
And wasn't Cordero the only bullpen man used yesterday? Wtf. Burn him out, why not.

8-21 GT: Sox @ Cubs (7:15pm)
110 pitches and no one ready. Brutal.

What should the Sox do with James McCann?
The gap between Grandal and McCann was much less than say Castellanos and our RF situation. Or Wheeler and Gio Gonzalez.

Dunning Recalled, Engel Activated, Cuthbert DFA and Ruiz Optioned
Gas can Cishek sould have been shown the door instead of Ruiz IMO.

WHITE SOX SIGN Grandal 4/$73, Palka DFAd
The Leury injury is gonna cost the Sox the luxury to carry a 3rd catcher soon. Leury being able to cover both IF and OF afforded them the 3 catcher project. I don't think they can keep this up, especially if a no position guy like EE stays on the roster. Maybe swap out Collins for Mercedes who can play LF in an emergency.

Stone targets RR?
Stone on the Score right now not pulling punches again. Love it. Bernstein asked about Grandal and his struggles attributed to not having better video access (according to Grandal), Stone not buying the BS. Points out sarcastically what video access do Blackmon and Trout have?

Stone targets RR?
While I 100% agree Renteria needed to be launched a long time ago, I don't put this entire pathetic start to the season all on him. #1 on my list is guys just need to hit as they were suppose to. Even the pitching issues would be covered if this team would just out-slugg people on most nights.

8-16 GT: Cardinals at Sox
I never thought I would see an OF make Carlos Lee look like a gold glove out there. Eloy, just keep mashing bro!

8-16 GT: Cardinals at Sox
Robert is just so smooth out there. Love it.

8-16 GT: Cardinals at Sox
It feels like Mazara is always moving towards flyballs. Never camps under anything.

8-16 GT: Cardinals at Sox
Yeah, I don't get the need to bring this kid in with the 5 run lead. He's going to burn him out.

8-16 GT: Cardinals at Sox
Some people write to let off steam. I have no problem with that. Rather people do that then other stupid things. And when shits going bad like it has for this team, it is well validated.
