Good idea to walk the 9 hitter to get to McGonigle.

Yup. My bad.

Ya. He's showing why he was the 3rd overall pick two years ago. Good stuff.

Mune and Colson have both started to look better the last week or so.

That was a ball to Teel and the 3-0 to Vargas was a ball as well.

Unless he can go more then 1 1/2 times through the order without imploding, I agree. Thorpe should’ve been the call, not him. Everyone forgets how highly thought of and that he made the jump straight from AA. Dude would at the very least eat some innings they desperately needed.

I’m sorry but there’s no way Thorpe isn’t better than Sandlin. He completely falls apart as soon as there’s traffic.

The whole bullpen is because the starters can’t go more than 4 and Will uses guy for too long as well. Schultz could’ve given them length tonight but I’m sure they are afraid to use him or have him planned for innings tomorrow.

I’m sorry but there’s no way Schultz couldn’t have given them some clean innings tonight.

Chris Murphy. Why not.

It’s pitchcom. It’s so he can hear what pitch he’s calling or in martins case calling.

This is the best the offense has looked in a while. Not because of the score but the contact is much better from everyone. The outs have been hard hit mostly.

Maybe Schultz can eat up some innings after Sandlin if things stay where they are.

I consider them stealing this game since neither Teel, Sam, or Peter’s saw an AB this game. The let rogers and Acuna both get 3 ABs

Swept them in Detroit, then got swept in Detroit, then swept them at home.

6-3

McDougal and Thorpe likely fit in there somewhere.

More so he needed his slider that he had early in his career back.

Well at least Schultz has looked good so far.

Beni should be up here not Acuna.

At some point the guys on the field have to preform and they haven't. Newcombe was the right decision with poor results.

Probably ran out of gas. He threw a decent amount on Monday. Some of those balls in the 5th were the best hit balls he's given up in a while.

Huge break that was a strike. Cant afford to be out in the 6th like the Natives were the other night.

Newcombe and Hudson are available. Just lefty them to death.

It should be Hagen for one more, then Newcombe for 2 and Hudson to close out. The Natives cant hit lefties so just stick with it.
