  1. I know. Chris got what, 8 years before his fell off?
  2. Went back and rewatched the inning. His spin on the ball is excellent...the movement is passable, but not elite. But the with the 101, movement doesn't matter. His catchers are going to need to try hard to not make his sequences the same. His 2nd pitch of the inning was an 85 mph changeup...Not sure how often he will throw that, but it could be devastating if he mixes that in occasionally. I am glad they brought him up. He has a 4-5 year window before that arm falls off. Interesting to see what the 2021 plans are if he dominates the playoffs.
  3. Magic at leadoff is fun. but not gonna happen much the next 3-4 years with TA7.
  4. it's important because no one wants the yankees in a 3 game series with Cole and the way they are playing lately. let the twins get raw dogged by them as the 4th seed.
  5. I do for 2022. But depending how this postseason goes (I think they will be a starter short), Bauer is TOP priority for the team. I would rather have Bauer and Engel over unproven young starter and FA RF. the hitting is stacked already and will be better next year with Moncada back, Robert better and Vaughn.
  6. the team payroll is way too low to justify not going for 1 year deals on Bauer. with him they literally are the best team in MLB in 2021, no question. That is the beauty with him. I think this new wave though has definitely pushed the Stroman's and #3 or 4 types out completely, agreed there.
  7. oh he isn't in my 2021 rotation for long. Giolito Bauer DK Dunning Cease until Kopech is ready. Now Crochet could push this even more. And 2022 looks WAY different. Giolito Bauer (if he chooses to stay) Kopech DK Dunning/Crochet I see no place for Cease on this team other than a major injury. He is trade FUEL.
  8. Also...what if this dude comes in and kills it...Kopech odd man out of rotation long term...?
  9. LOVE this. Makes me wonder though...Why didn't they call up Vaughn 3 weeks ago then also? if you are gonna go for it....GO FOR IT!
  10. Came for good news...stayed for the hijinks that ensued. Kopech is a human being. He will be a White Sox starter (and a damn good one) when HE is right. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
  11. Would rather have them and their inexperience vs. the Dodgers. Dodgers are so good and overdue to finally break one through. And don't be suprised...we will see Padres in at least one or two world series the next 5 years
  12. put some respekt on his name! I love watching the game threads and the meltdowns. his stuff has too much movement to actually hit him hard. He doesn't have the gaudy strikeout numbers, but he is super reliable to get the job done.
  13. I got some grief on page 1 or 2 for being excited for him getting a start. And I will repeat, if they win it all this year, he will have a defining moment to get us there.
  14. I am a little more emotional than I expected. The only time I have cried as an adult is when my Grandma died and 2005. The work is just beginning boys, but the next month and next 5 years are going to be a rollercoaster. Sit back, relax, and strap it down
  15. LETS GO. The division is OWNED by the WHITE SOX!!!! Fuck you Donaldson.
  16. the Twins may literally be waiting for the umps in the tunnel after the game. Seriously, Roid rage is dangerous.
  17. this game has that playoff atmosphere this team needs. Let's shut THEM DOWN and stick it to Donaldson.
  18. I hope Donaldson being a dick to the ump isn't the turning point of the season and the division. Sox really needed to punch them in the mouth with the bases loaded. Please find a way this game boys.
  19. Robert tried to win ROY on that first swing.
  20. yep. you are never going to see a better pitch to hit than that. damn.
