i have seen the phrase "all-star" thrown out in a ton of ceiling projections for Emerson. Almost nobody uses that term for Roch, and this is your one shot to get a generational player...so I am going with the highest upside talent over a surefire starter (since we already have a staked infield currently). But honestly happy with either of them and even Lackey to a degree.

Carlson, Gonzales and if anyone is thinking they can fix Hagen would be the 3 that SHOULD be offered up for anything to help this year. Bonemer or Fauske only in discussion if it's for a pitcher with 3 years+ control. I do think the draft will help "refill the cupboard" and knowing whether it's Roch or Emerson helps you on the expendable mapping. This team needs a pitcher or two NOW and in 2 years.
