Who is the juicer in your neighborhood?

If it turns out to be any of the Red Sox, will Combover Berman scream "OHHH NOOOOO!!!!"? -
QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 20, 2007 -> 07:11 PM) I've never heard the phrase, "all set and done" before. Is it new? I believe it's a take-off/bastardization/reworking/misinterpretation of "when all is said and done".

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 19, 2007 -> 11:32 AM) Would you like me to start listing RnR bands? http://www.tokyodragons.com/ http://www.supagroup.com/ http://www.midnightscraper.com/ http://www.myspace.com/theurgencies http://www.thecompulsionsnyc.com/ http://www.myspace.com/thevalentinefailures You can also buy this wonderful magazine that covers NOTHING BUT ROCK AND ROLL!!! http://www.myspace.com/sonicruin One of the best record labels out there right now, and based in Chicago, has some killer bands: http://www.fullbreach77.com/kicks/news.html What you have noticed though is why I rarely post in this thread. Nobody seems interested in full blooded RnR on this site. And IN RIDES KID GLEASON on his bedazzled, hot pink and neon green horse (with a teased-up electric blue mane, of course) to SAVE THE DAY FOR ROCK! AND! ROLL!!!!

Paul Heyman is officially gone from The E. (Either his contract or his no-compete clause has expired) It'll be interesting to see where he lands, and how long it takes. I know AWA Lite had either pursued him or pretended to pursue him, but that's a pretty steep drop. TNA would be smart to let Russo go and hire Paul E., but has TNA done anything smart lately? -
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 18, 2007 -> 12:47 PM) Sex Pistols to do a one off 30th Anniversary show. From Yahoo: *sigh* Idiots. I guess simple fact checking is as dead as dumb-ass Sid. He was NOT the original bassist and only played with them for 6 months or so before they broke up. I'd love to see that show. The band who turned me on to punk in the only foreign city I'd like to visit.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Sep 17, 2007 -> 11:16 PM) I'd trade away every baseball event of my lifetime to have watched a Maddux start live, at the ballpark, in the 1990s. See, now you're just starting s***.... I'm glad you had fun at Wrigley. I go there several times a year (my wife, sister, nephews, a favorite cousin and a few of my closer friends are Cub fans) and I have fun there every time. Wrigley is a nice contrast to USCF, and it actually makes me appreciate the comforts of USCF more. The tiny Wrigley seats do no favors to my fat ass, and the slightly larger USCF seats are more accommodating to my ample lower torso. I enjoy National League baseball, and I particularly like to see the Pirates, Cardinals, Brewers and Diamondbacks when they come to town. The Wrigley stereotypes (yakking on cellphones, bleacher fratboys/trixies, no attention being paid to the game) are everywhere these days, not just at Wrigley. I see a LOT of the same behaviors at USCF nowadays. There are concourse fratboy and trixie types who barely watch the game, and EVERYONE and their god-damned brother are on their f***ing cellphones constantly. Last time I was at USCF, I heard someone in a Sox jersey ask her friend why Frank Thomas doesn't play any more. The whole Cub-bashing thing is tired to me. It's just a baseball game, it's not meant to be a cause of stress.

QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Sep 17, 2007 -> 06:54 PM) who? Sonny Siaki had a run in TNA a while back where he basically stole the Rock's gimmick. Kind of the same thing Juventud Guerrera did in wCw. -

WWE released Sonny Siaki. Or as I liked to call him, "Pebble" (Little Rock) or "Cubic Zirconia" (fake Rock). -

QUOTE(longshot7 @ Sep 17, 2007 -> 12:50 PM) No, I just like to point out that I'm better than you. btw, interesting stuff on the roh ppv - I'll be in Vegas & (hopefully) SF for the shows there. Unforgiven was the most boring ppv I can remember - I went to the bar and promptly fell asleep. "bar" + "fell asleep" = passed out. -
Awesome for Jim to get it at home, as a game-winner, and on his own bobblehead day! CONGRATS, BIG MAN!!!!!!

QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Sep 15, 2007 -> 03:37 PM) I've pictured several people here with horns on their heads and barbed tails. I bring the tail around front to impress the layyyydeeeezzz.

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Sep 15, 2007 -> 11:59 PM) Pls listen to this band. I don't think I've ever really been a fan of a band until I saw these guys - the Gay Blades. I have now watched them live for the eighth or ninth time this year. They just put out a record - "Ghosts" - as far as an unsigned, doing it completely on their own, band goes - this is an incredibly polished and well constructed album. http://www.myspace.com/gayblades I liked "O Shot" and "NHDN", although they have that "I've heard this before" vibe to them.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Sep 15, 2007 -> 02:59 PM) They just put on great matches at PPV's with big plot twists in cities with rabid fan bases like Chicago that have been loyal. Last time here, they had Austin Aries surprise everybody announcing that he'd been released from TNA and was back in ROH. And it is -- Sara Del Ray - SHIMMER Champ Takeshi Morishima (the guy in my avy) - ROH World Champ Jay and Mark Briscoe - ROH Tag Champs Personally, I am happy to see Marufuji again live and that pretty much makes my evening outside of Dragon/Shima II. And Vegas fans, ROH to debut in October! What's SHIMMER? Their women's division, or a separate fed, or what? -

QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Sep 15, 2007 -> 11:25 AM) So does anyone think any titles change hands tonight at the ROH PPV taping? Yes. I have zero knowledge of ROH (I don't know who holds any titles, I don't even think I can name anyone in ROH) but if it's a PPV taping I'd guess at least one belt will change hands. -
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 15, 2007 -> 09:18 AM) I know you really hate the earth and pretty much everything that goes with it

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 15, 2007 -> 08:48 AM) I would like to go on record as to my newest "pet peeve" being that stupid ass "I heart" way of saying you like something. I was going to go on record with this the other day, but the heartbreak of seeing Critic use it just pushed me way over the top. So, whoever is in charge of taking this type of info down, put me down for one "I Hate 'Heart' B.S.". Thanks. I heart your anger. and BTW, I didn't think I had to green that "I heart the Earth" part, but I guess I did if The Human Sarcasm Detector missed it.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Sep 14, 2007 -> 06:53 PM) From a shoot..Steve Corino meets Invader I (the guy who murdered Bruiser Brody) Awesome. I always liked Corino. Sorry to see he's hangin' 'em up. -
Hell, if that's all it takes to build models, I can do that now!

My sister just called me. She's at the game, first row above the Bullpen Bar, and she got me two green caps. She's a Cubs fan, but she wore her Bears jacket instead of her Cubs jacket so she "wouldn't disrespect the Sox in their building". She told me if she catches #500, she'll give it to Thome if he gives her a jersey autographed to me. I love my sister.
