4/23 GT: Sox @ MIN (3:05 CST)
Sox can let me know when they're gonna a start taking this season seriously. I dont really know what la russa is good at to be honest. Guys go through the motions. He's bad strategically. Plays lesser players. Rests guys too often, injuries everywhere.

Bundy making mistakes all year and no one hitting them so far. Amazing.

Idk about hofhurt but eduardo escobar 188 wRC+ would look a little better than leury. And if the Sox were just gonna play a 1b in rf anyway, nick castellanos 180 wRC+ would be nice... Oh and Carlos rodon dominating start would be nice. But sure... nothing would make a difference in hofhurt35 lala land.

This is why good teams don't just stand pat in off seasons in their window. Eloy injury not shocking, sadly.

You realize the leury decisions have become so egregious that it's become a national story, right? It's honestly the first time in my entire life watching baseball that I've seen a bunch of smart baseball minds saying what the ffff is going on with the white sox lineups... because most of them understand that lineups typically mean nothing.

The amazing thing is lineups really don't matter most of the time; it's almost like Tony heard about that from stat "nerds" and wanted to challenge it. So he's gone out of his way to harm his team by throwing out bad players and bad lineups that deprive his best players of getting the most AB's.

Lineup would be OK imo with Engel in there. Move Pollock up to 2nd: Tim SS Pollock RF Abreu 1B Eloy DH Vaughn LF Engel CF Leury 2B Burger 3B Reese C It's right handed, but this team is heavily right handed. You just can't put two first baseman in the outfield with an aging CF'er. It's just not smart.
