  1. Cool, Castillo got 25 million more if you include the tax. This portrayal of robert as if he was ohtani (who would have netted about 150 million if he waited) is pretty comical. So everyone knew robert was elite and going to be amazing but no MLB team wanted to pay him 50+ plus arbitration for 7 years of service? Yeah, ok bud.
  2. Beat me to the castillo thing. The sox outbid all of baseball for his services and they deserve no credit if he becomes great ha.
  3. So the entire baseball world new he was an elite talent but only one team would give him 50 million while other international signings have netted 3 times as much? Weird take. Amazing that everyone knew he was an ELITE talent and he got 1/3 the money that Rusney Castillo got when he signed our of Cuba with the Red Sox.
  4. Your last paragraph is hilarious. Gannon and Warner were statues with GREAT accuracy that fit their offenses perfectly. Mitch is a run first qb who doesnt understand defenses or reads, who has poor accuracy. People citing the p/r rate have no idea how many RPO's nagy called and how many Mitch misread and turned into a pass when it should have been a run. And the inexperience excuse for the 3rd overall pick in the NFL in his third season is just laughable. He wasn't a three year+ project when they traded a ton to move up one spot to get him. That excuse worked for one season. The third overall pick as a QB doesnt need three years to develop and gain experience.
  5. The Bears have scored less than 20 points in 9 of the past 18 games. Enough with the primetime nonsense. Enough blaming John Fox. Mitch is great vs the worst teams in the NFL. Congratulations.
  6. Rewrite history? So everyone knew Robert was going to be the MiLB POY and an elite MLB talent but none wanted to offer him more than 26 million? It's nonsense. Big money signings flame out all the time. The Sox deserve credit for finding and investing more than any team in a guy they thought was worth twice as much as they paid him.
  7. The conclusions drawn about Mitch have been drawn based on 2+ years of NFL quarterbacking.
  8. I love how everyone the sox sign or acquire deserves no credit because "everyone knew they'd be good." Comical stuff.
  9. That defense might be the best overall unit in the NFL (ST, DEF, OFF). Assuming they stay healthy, the Bears will be fine. Nagy will find points. Also to the above. Kc had a lot of big leads bringing that run total up.
  10. Lol nagy is running the same offense the chiefs run. He was one of the guys who helped build and fine tune that offense with Reid obviously leading the way.
  11. Nagy runs a west coast style offense. Short passes are runs in west coast style offenses. This isn't a new concept. Part of their problem is they weren't crisp there tonight and their QB isnt very accurate on quick passes.
  12. They gave up 10 points and scored 3. People can try and look deep within but the fact is, teams that drop passes and get penalties and have goes out with injuries average more than 3 points a game. Obviously others were bad too for that to happen, but if any of those players were good (not counting mitch) the team doesn't score more than 3 points.
  13. It's a passing league now. Get used to passing in short yardage situations regardless of down. That's what makes him good so it cant ge a critique of him too imo.
  14. Devin Hester houses that 100%.
  15. People who blame football coaches like Nagy with these read offenses puzzle me. Unless you're watching overhead tape and seeing everyone covered, and now how the progressions go, I have no idea how you can evaluate nagys playcalling. Too may audibles and kill reads.
  16. Lol you never quit - persistent as all mitch apologists. Offenses in the NFL amazingly are driven by QB play. When you're QB is trash, your offense is likely trash.
  17. You go ahead and do that. Next time tim makes an error in april I'll tell you that he needs to get used to keeping his eyes on the ball after the off season.
  18. Never looks up field. Bails after his first read is covered. Receiver was open on the comeback in the middle of the field.
  19. No. And there are 32 halves of football in an entire season. You act like this is an april game of baseball. It's a division game in the NFL. The half mattered and furthered evidence that he is who he has been. People remain that way until they show progress. 2 delay of games. This guy is awful. Trubisky has to get used to looking at the clock lol
  20. One is playing an all time great defense... The other is not.
  21. The chiefs were all over mahomes - obviously some draft speak but he was their #1 QB on the board according to all their writers and Nagy loved him.
